Hailing from Tijuana in Mexico, @soulofhex have already released dynamite EP's via Jimpster's Freerange and @elusionsofgrandeur labels and now they are back with another delicious slab of house groove in the shape of the Pharaoh Machine EP. Featuring three tracks packing in the finest underground disco and house punctuated with powerhouse machine funk and endless dancefloor swagger it's another truly outstanding release.

'At 4pm today UK time I am teaming up with Brazilian vinyl gold digger @teecardaci for his Above The Horizon show over on @universalrhythms.music 🎶 

When Tee asked me to do the mix I decided to do it all from music that my amigos sent me to listen to while I was in isolation in São Paulo.

I was bowled over by the kindness & generosity of people. But this is kinda of normal in Brasil tbh. It’s one of the things I cherish about the place. & it certainly helped me through my period locked up inside.

London's @bensunmusic has previously released on Delusions Of Grandeur, King Street, Nite Grooves and Quintessentials. Now he is back with a brand new EP for @razor-n-tape Reserve, following his remix of Kraak & Smaak for the label a few years back. The Distant messenger EP is a wonderfully layered EP which wears it's 90's influences on it's sleeve. Think acid tinged Larry Heard, Chez Damier and early Ron Trent and you are in the right territory. It's house music with class, warmth, depth and edge.

In celebration of the EP hitting the shelves, Ben hops on the decks to showcase his crystalline cuts & soaring selections. Shifting from Moodymann to Baianasystem to Quando Quango, he peruses percussive groove and timeless taste on his debut RNT podcast.
