The metaphorical lyrics travel a path of repelling life's pressures, but eventually succumbing to those pressures and releasing chaos.

A New Life is the closing track to the groundbreaking 1990 blockbuster movie Total Recall, starring Arnold Swarzenegger. The soundtrack was composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith. Raz adapted the orchestral track to a Hard Rock Guitar instrumental.

I wrote this song as a tribute to loved ones lost, inspired by my uncle's passing last year. An uplifting rock guitar anthem with big vocal harmonies, inspiring melodies, and heartfelt lyrics everyone can relate to. Driving guitars and melodic bass grooves lay the foundation for a climatic vocal ensemble, ending with a virtuoso guitar solo.

Raz Rassel - It's Not About Loss

Raz Rassel is an American Hard Rock singer, guitarist, and music producer. Raz grew up performing with Hard Rock bands out of Minneapolis, and he went on to tour the United States and Canada as a Hard Rock singer/guitarist. Currently, Raz resides in Sarasota, FL where he has performed with local bands and continues to record original music.
