Recorded live on a lovely Friday evening at MeloMelo - Oakland. It had been several months since I played a showcase set there and it felt so good to throw down for three and a half hours. We started out in the world of organic, exploring gems from labels like #amulanga, #alldayidream, and #lostandfound. But it wasn't long before we cruised into the deep and progressive vibes.  If you're a #Marsh fan, this mix is for you. I played 10 different Marsh tracks throughout the night, six of which were off of his new record, 'Endless', that dropped that same very day. 

Releasing this set publicly is an exercise in letting go of perfection. I initially kept this one private due to a few mistakes in my mixing. But, after reflecting on the fear of others hearing my flaws, I've decided to release it.  A poem by Marianne Williamson, entitled "On Our Deepest Fear", came to mind:

"And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." 

Aside from the few oops moments, I am super stoked on this set. I had so much fun and the crowd was vibin'. I hope you enjoy.

Live @ MeloMelo 2.3.23: An Organic Journey Into The Deep

I paint sounds with emotion. I've been a long time lover of electronic music, and my heart and soul lies in the wave forms of deep house. I picked up a pioneer controller in April of 2022 and gave it everything I had. Mixing music is the most healing and empowering thing I have discovered in life.
