The Corpse Eater EP is finally here! So I think it’s time I break down what this project is really about.
Corpse Eater is based on my mental health struggles — mainly body dysmorphia. I didn’t want this to just be a collection of sounds. I wanted to take the things I feel and twist them into something more — something that feels like a found footage horror film.
Each track title, while raw and maybe even a little over the top, paints a bigger picture. A picture of what someone might do to feel beautiful — or in my case, to feel skinny.
The “corpse eater” is disgusted of their reflection. They shatter their mirror and eat the shards, hoping the glass will cut the fat out of their body. They survive it. But desperation pushes them further.
They dig through old internet forums, chasing something ancient, and decide to perform a ritual.
It starts with them killing someone they love. They leave the body to rot — waiting for the bugs to come. Once decay sets in, they eat the corpse to become the corpse eater.
They then have to locate a series of sigils — [the exact number is unclear, redacted to prevent further summoning] — in order to summon an entity named Neraem. Obsessed with becoming their ideal self, they light [a number of rotting, maggot-infested candles — the count is deliberately omitted to prevent ritual replication] — and perform the summoning.
Neraem appears, and they beg for the body they’ve always wanted. He agrees — and transforms them into a skeletal, antique-like figure: fragile, thin, and on the brink of death.
Then, Neraem devours them — and purifies their soul.
The ritual site is left covered in blood, rotting candles, and flesh. But at the center of it all… is nothingness.
Allowing listener to reflect on what they would to try to reach an unobtainable body image.

There is a place where weight dissolves. Where the self is no longer a center, but a current. Thought ceases to join, and only still, expanded in silence, such as light without surface. What disappears here was never truly yours. What remains is presence, without form and eternal.
