Welcome to A Guide to the Birdsong of South America, an album that unites activism with music, that brings together birds and musicians. 10 South American artists, 11 endangered South American species and their majestic song.

This mixtape introduces the birds, their songs and the artists - each musician worked with the song of an endagered bird from their country to create a unique piece of music. This crowd funded project aims to raise awareness about the plight of these endangered birds.

All the profits from this project will be donated to organisations working to protect these species in South America.

Yet again the leafs are turning neon golden, reminding us of the change of seasons lying at the edge of our doorstep. The first cold breezes and the fading warmth of the sun, which we just took for granted so easily, sketch the outline of that mild and soothing melancholia resting in autumn's palms. A mood we can very well enjoy to bury in deeply and with Luise's newest release listen to closely. »MENTIS EXCESSUS« is a tenderly crafted tale, a musical journey that paints broad images of false memories and blurry resemblances. Like a Déjà-vu that lasts too long to put aside, it crawls up your neck to give you that eerie feeling of curiosity with which you look at the uncanny world that suddenly surrounds you.

We are very pleased to welcome »WIDE AWAKE« as the most recent addition to Luises's sheltered, little family, a project that has its foundations at the talented hands and hearts of »Niju«, »Ninze« & »Okaxy«. These three banded together for greater good to provide nothing less, but their as well as Laut & Luise's first album.

“Q: What inspired this podcast? 
A: It was created in the days when spring begins, and then the spring never came.”

Barda’s galactic Urban Cosmonaut Radio podcast #10 was born in longing for blooming flowers and sunny days in Buenos Aires...and yet it’s a colourful hybrid of melancholy, warmth and cumbia rhythms, taking us on a ride through the Patagonian steppe ­ where we dance to sayas and cumbias, traces of dub and 
minimal, sounds of guitars and synths, and memories of Peruvian chicha.
The next set in this series is an eclectic blend of Cecilia Gebhard ­ aka Barda’s ­ own productions, remixes and mashups. Her musical roots are influenced by the textures of trip hop, electronic downtempo and her very first musical memory of The Beatles performing “Let It Be” on TV as a young child. After. singing and playing drums and guitar in rock bands as a teenager, she started producing music in 2013.
Spring may never have come to Buenos Aires, but something beautiful blossomed here in the Urban Cosmic Universe. Let’s see where it takes us.

Die Berlinerin Sabrina Mue feierte 2014 mit dem Track “Breakaway” an der Seite von Lars Moston gleich ein richtig starkes Debüt, welches auf dem bekannten Berliner Label Katermukke veröffentlicht wurde. Getreu dem Motto “never change a winning Team” setzte Sabrina Mue auch für Ihr zweites Release auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Lars Moston. Ihre gemeinsame EP “We used to dance” erschien auf WellDone Music.   
Damit feierte die Newcomerin ein wirklich sehr beeindruckendes Debüt, dass bescherte Ihr unter anderem auch die Aufmerksamkeit einiger großer Namen, darunter Claptone, der Ihren Track in seiner berühmten Clapcast-Reihe spielte.
Aktuell arbeitet die sympathische und ehrgeizige Berlinerin eifrig an Ihrem nächsten Karriereschritt und produziert dafür fleißig Solomaterial, wir dürfen also gespannt sein.

Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Es gibt Zuwachs, nicht ganz klein, sondern jetzt schon ganz groß. @JaschaHagen, der Beatbastler und Hüftschwinger aus Leepzsch, bereichert Luises luettje Dynastie. Die Freude ist groß, gleich doppelterweise, denn nicht nur zum Einstand ein Einklang von Jascha mit Sorbetchen: Der zweite Streich folgt soweit nicht gleich, aber bald, auf der kleinen Schwester mit 7 Zoll. Läuft halt einfach.

Pedro Canale crosses the mountains from Buenos Aires to bring us a new live set. With years of experience this artist develops his musical craftsmanship at the hands of Argentinian folklorist, Miriam Garcia, who bases her vocal work in the cultivation of ancestral compilations. Together with percussionist Feberico Estevez and violinist Heidi Lewandowski they recover lost songs of the valleys and hills of Argentina, making new sounds fall in love with ancient music of the earth and its roots.

Pedro Canale cruza también la cordillera para traernos desde Buenos Aires un nuevo live. Este artista, con años de trayectoria, desarrolla su artesanía musical de la mano de Miriam García, coplera argentina, que basa su trabajo vocal en el cultivo de recolecciones ancestrales.
