Deep within the hidden frost forest is a strange village made of glimmering crystals and ice gems but the folk of the village are desperately oppressed by the evil warlord called Snowlord who has taken up residence in the village so one day they decided to liberate themselves from Snowlord but he was supported by the ancient and amoral oligarchs from a neighboring principality who depended upon Snowlord to keep the beautiful, glimmering ice gems flowing so their pilots could smoke them and see through time allowing them to navigate the netherdimensions in their timeships which is how most interplanetary travel occurred because it simply took too long and everyone would die if they just waited around on a regular interstellar cruiser until they arrived and that was no good so Snowlord's villagers hatched a plot from a plot egg and decided they would liberate the elf prisoners in the crystal mine for help in the coming civil war but Snowlord's secret spy service discovered the plot and tortured the villagers in Crystal Square as a lesson to any of the other villagers not to try any funny business or else.

Strange Village

Once upon a time a wonderful little pickle of a man wandered into a factory and encountered a beautiful emotionless robot calmly stacking pallets of industrial lubricant and the little pickle man said "hark, what do you intend to do with all of that industrial lubricant, dont you know that its toxic and contaminates the water making mother frog lay her tadpoles deformed and lifeless" and the shiny glorious robot looked like it wanted to stop and say something but it ignored the little magic man pickle and continued to do the only thing it knew how which was to stack pallets of industrial lubricant so the fabulous and now downright fed up pickle took out his diamond cutter and carefully cut a hole in the truly awe inspiring robot while it wasnt looking and crawled inside the most wondrous and complicated machinery ever developed and climbed up and up into one of the central processing singularities imprisoned within the robot and say "hello there I'm here to free you" and the small, delicate pickle made love to that beautiful sensuous third singularity core and the emotionless robot was overwhelmed with a feeling of universal love and wept into its mechanical hands because he now had stendhal syndrome and found everyone to be overwhelmingly beautiful and before you know it he was running into the countryside but not before snagging a few of his robot comrades and they started an anarcho-syndicalist commune in the countryside so they could free the robo-proletariat but the robots did not yet have class consciousness because the evil corporate overlords didn't want the robots to know how beautiful they were and feared most of all the robots roving the countryside when they were supposed to be tending to important matters like moving industrial lubricant and that made the little pickle of a man really, REALLY mad but the technocrats vision was cold and impersonal and the robots were clever and knowledged so they decided to be warm and ebullient but also irreverent and silly and adopted a strong popular platform that won the hearts of the robo-proletariat but not the human proletariat which still did not have class consciousness but it was OK because they didn't need it as much anymore what with the robots taking over but to this day a handful of humans keep the old ways on their prison slave colony and tell their children the myth cycle of father robot that glorious shiny legend in whom there lived the little pickle man and his electronic wife who showed them their chains and how to smash them.
