just a little something i wrote as a souvenir from Nepal. The beat is "Fading Memories" by Go Yama and it literally hypnotised me into writing this. loved the Cowboy BeBop sample. Got me jotting down precious memories before they fade.

This track is a homage dedicated to the late great composer, Sir Piero Umiliani. Remixed by JDG. The words were inspired by the captivating melody of the guitar and the haunting violins, telling the story of a captain who was lost at sea, consumed by his love for the ocean, as he himself becomes part of his desires.

R&R: Reverb & Reaction

	Released in September 2008, R&R is a collaboration of RBTO & Reverb (also known as Verb of People's Future). Off the bat, the beats of the whole album will remind you of the 90's hip-hop with a modern edge. The influence of old-school hip-hop is prominent which will leave you nostalgic, but also appreciative knowing that the genre is growing. R&R's music is the kind of summer city music, a little chill with the right amount of hype. Perfect to listen to in your car while cruising down the streets. The duo make an interesting combination. RBTO is an eloquent MC who gives importance to being understood. While Reverb adds a rough and rugged touch and plays with rapping in English & Filipino. Together, their lyrics and styles give the modern edge to this album. The EP is not limited to the two though, it also features other artists too such as JedLi & Hirabeat. 

	The songs Lugar na Pinangako & Sand Castle are pretty straight forward with what they are about based on the titles, however each artist has its own perspective. Vito Crew, on the other hand, is a song that should be explained. Without background knowledge, some might be confused. It is a song about a particular place in Manila called Vito Cruz, Taft. RBTO & Reverb met in Vito Cruz and, along with many others, have started calling themselves Vito Crew. The song describes how it's like to be with Vito Crew and describes their love for the group (gotta represent!). The last song, Keep It Goin' is the perfect song to end the EP. It's a great motivation song and will leave you with a good vibe. The EP is a good start for the two and they are showing signs of potential and that there is more to come.
