Go Go Girl

RC5 stands for the Robb Clark Five, they were formed by Robb of Zipgun / AMA and Todd Ohashi of AMA. After Zipgun broke up Robb sang for Against Medical Advise (AMA) where he met Todd Ohashi on lead guitar. AMA disbanded after a few short gigs (playing shows with the likes of Gas Huffer, Bottle of Smoke, Steel Wool). Soon after Robb and Todd re-formed to create RC5 with John Mack on drums  also from AMA in 1997. John recruited Bob Ries from Cleveland, Ohio. He had played in Idiot Humans, Basket Case and The Guns.
They played around Seattle and recorded a few songs, but in November John left the band and was replaced by Erick Erickson (Crisis Party, Poison Bone, and Jesus Christ Superfly). Soon after he joined the band they were back playing shows and recorded all their material to date.
