Tippa Irie's new single "Free" is based on a true-life experience, and like most of his songs, it is written straight from the heart. As he processed all the trials and tribulations in his relationships, Tippa realized how good it felt to escape the golden cage and be "Free" again to enjoy his life to the fullest.

Apart from the original Lockdown version, this eclectic single release features a radio edit from Marco Baresi Rmx Outernational, a lover's rock remix by Not Easy At All, an acoustic version with Tippa's son Messy plus remixes from Ancient Astronauts, Marc Hype, Jim Dunloop and this little rub-a-dub-wize re-fix from RCola.
