Plastic Love Cover - Blasted Love

Between working on difficult videogame soundtracks and generally being uninspired musically, I haven't done much work for myself as of late. However, this track was made with the attitude expressed in it's title. "Here we go" just being non-chalant making some music. It started out as a pretty cheesy retrowave track before I started distorting the DX7 bass and got a bit weird. Enjoy!

"Anyway, Here we go" - DEMO

This track was made for Zeoworks for a new slendietubbies game. It was made for the main menu before diving into the game.

It was made with the idea that the idea of the game is indeed silly but the creatures in it are still scary. I took the original teletubbies theme and warped it into a minor scale that gave it the forlorne tone you hear. 

Then throw it screwed up teletubbie Soundbites for effects.

A Theme made for Dodger's character 'Breakdown' on the Mirrorshade's series on itmeJP. Really good stuff from these guys. Other characters to come soon.

Breakdown Theme - Astral Wing

This is the Decker, Bonbon's Theme. Making this one was a lot of fun as well. It started out being rather sinister and subdued but as I made it, it became volumous and proud. I think that suits BonBon Well.

Think of the large chorus parts to be BonBon in the Matrix, Vomiting Rainbows.

And now the track for our Sassy ex-star shadowrunner. This track was considerably more difficult for me to make due to the odd scale I was using so maybe it's a bit repetitive.. I don't know.

The start and the end are references to a certain 'preformance' that NightSass and Crusher put on. Rest of the song? maybe what the lovely star heard herself?

Stronger Than You - RisenLP Remix

A little track I did as a warm-up for other musical work. Vassalheim is a place in Matt Mercer's own D&D work that he and some 'Nerdy ass voice actors' get together and play in on the Geek and Sundry streams every thursday night.

After hearing @BlastProcessed 's version of Asgore's theme I decided to make my own out of fun. This is about 4 hours worth of work so far. I may or may not continue this in the future or expand it to a full rearrange.

I made this few months ago and didn't bother to upload it for whatever reason. The mixing might be a little off as I'm changing gear right now but I think it'll be ok as it is.

Undine's Theme - Megadriven Remix

Although this wasn't what I was planning to upload for February, I felt it was nice enough to add. I used to make a lot of Remixes of Guilty Gear tunes, but back then I'd just replace midi instruments with VSTs without changing or composing. At least with MD arranges, I need to re-arrange to suit the sounds. Enjoy!

This cover was made to try and be faithful to the Sega MD sound but not it's limitations.

Since my last Shovel Knight seemed to hit a chord with both myself and new follows; I decided to follow it up.

I haven't heard this track remixed as much as other levels, so I gave it a go. Pretty pleased with it. Enjoy!

[Shovel Knight] - Of Devious Machinations - Sega Genesis Remix

Another Shovel Knight cover. I've been trying to get a working sound out of this track for a while. This track took a different approach for me. Gone are the guitar sounds I've used before. Replacing them is the DAC channel using a randomized custom waveform. The original chipset for the Genesis could be jerryrigged to play more than one sample at the same time, so this one is playing three or four depending on the situation. Drums are them FM and Noise based. I like the sound alot and I'll be remembering it for later tracks.

[Shovel Knight] High Above the Land - Sega Genesis Remix

It's been a while since I uploaded to SoundCloud. I've been dealing with a sickness that removed my musical 'sense' for the longest time. I'm not totally recovered yet but here's a cover anyway.

I don't know how Toby Fox does what he does with music. I would've never chosen the chords and colours he does with music like this. Still, I tried to pull off a different enough cover that felt right to me. It's composition is beyond what a single genesis could preform but whatever, I'm never strict with this kind of stuff.

This originally started as an experiment into J Dilla / Drunk drumming styles but after getting a pretty sick pad and some reverb on the drumkit I was sold on making something that felt more Genesis (or Furi according to a friend). Enjoy!
