Pünktlich zum Bandcamp Friday erscheint am 02. April 2021, zeitgleich zum 9-jährigen Jubiläum der Münchener Bassschmiede BREAK IT DOWN, eine neue EP von Cruel Culture & Kit Curse. Gute Nachrichten also für alle Fans zeitgeistiger Bassmusik, die hier traditionell mit intelligent-komplexer Soundtextur zu überzeugen weiß. Inspiration ist hier durchaus das Zeitgeschehen 2020/21 – wie sollte es auch anders sein. Es entsteht dabei ein beindruckend kreativer Ausdruck dunkler Gedanken und Stimmungen. Depression in Moll als Escape Strategie, als Verarbeitung, vielleicht auch als Heilmittel.

Just in time for Bandcamp Friday, a new EP by Cruel Culture & Kit Curse will be released on April 2nd 2021, coinciding with the 9th anniversary of the Munich bass company BREAK IT DOWN. Good news for all fans of contemporary bass music, which traditionally knows how to impress with its intelligent, complex sound texture. Inspirations are definitely the current events of 2020/21 - how could it be any different. The result is an impressively creative expression of dark thoughts and moods. Depression in minor key as an escape strategy, as a processing, perhaps also as a remedy.

We welcome back the sub frequency specialists from Brussels for their second LP on Samurai Music. Peppered with a sizzling selection of like-minded collaborators, Grassroots continues the enhanced exploration into dub infused, stripped back Drum and Bass, deftly splashing breakbeat shards over their rolling grooves. The collaborators each add their signature spice to the Untouchables proven recipe while retaining the heat-seeking attention to groove that is inherent to The Untouchables signature construction methods. Originally an EP for the label, the submissions outgrew the EP format organically until the project became an LP that flows seamlessly, touching every corner of the Untouchables stylistic repertoire. While their considered attention to the nether regions of bass frequencies gives the LP the weight it needs to command any large system, this is also an LP for listeners - an alluring headphone expedition.

Very excited about the release of our fourth reference. We welcome Kiri, who debuts on our label with his second EP called "Gateway to Hell". The Austrian producer already showed his weapons in his first release on the amazing Kurnugû label and now offers us in this new EP 4 tracks full of personality and power including a collaboration with Parasite.
