Learned that ADOBE AUDITION has its own MIDI Interface, so, I spent my whole day with it.

VOILA! Gravity by John Mayer! :)

This actually hits a lot of stuff that I wanted to try.
1. Sing a blue-sy track
2. Play Blues Guitar
3. Map MIDI VSTs
4. Copy John Mayer's Strat Tone
5. Do Choir-like Backing Vocals

Hey guys!
I was able to do a stratocaster shootout earlier.

I am shooting out a FENDER American Standard Stratocaster (Fender Custom Shop Fat 50's) and another strat. :D

The goal of this shootout is to have the participants distinguish the Fender from the Strat Copy.

Now, inspired by the Tone Challenge in PhilMusic.com's Guitar Central,
I have a few questions to throw to you guys as well!

1. which is the Fender Strat? the First or the Second Part of the clip?
2. What do you think are the pickups installed in the Strat Copy Guitar?
3. Do you think that the EQ or FX settings were changed between guitars?

Strat Shootout 1

Again, because it was a lazy day and I wanted to try new and wonderful things in the world of recording! hahaha!

I've jumped from one DAW to another. I'm sorry ADOBE Audition 3.0, I have cheated on you.

I'm now using Cockos (c) REAPER. This is a great DAW. very easy to use and the GUI is not bad!

AND THUS, GIVE ME LOVE by ED SHEERAN

I experimented and tried new things with this track:
1. Sing a semi complicated vocal track
2. Play Keyboards
3. Map MIDI VSTs
4. Proper Acoustic Micing
5. Do Choir-like Backing Vocals
6. Play MIDI Drum Tracks through my e-drums!
7. Lessen editing and retuning hahahaha

so yeah hahaha everything was done by me! :)

he picks up a pen,
starts scribbling some words,
and he slows down to think about memories to relate the ink to.

he then picks up the guitar
and starts to play along the inked paper,
slowly he finishes a verse,
a chorus,
and sees a song in the making.

he then realizes that time flew by,
he drops the pen and paper,
keeps the guitar,
and then takes time to breathe again going back to real life.
