We are pleased to present our first episode of Re-Leaf radio with the very talented E-Talking hailing from Berlin, Germany.

E-talking has been one of our favourite artists for a hot minute as he encapsulates what Re-Leaf is about. Creating the perfect balance of old school and new in all of his mixes and productions, we're honoured to him as our first guest. He really brought the heat with this mix full of high energy and carefully curated, spanning across house, progressive and techno.

One half of French duo Nummer alongside long-time friend and partner-in-crime
Silvère Letellier, Emmanuel Corre has recently begun a new chapter in his musical
career under the moniker of E-Talking. Inaugurating that new path, his debut
instalment as E-Talking came through the high-flying Blue Series of London's finest,
AD93.
Released as a split in 2018, “Téléphone Rose” marked a shift from Nummer’s

compositions but no betrayal towards their respective aspirations. A full-fledged left-
of-centre club weapon designed to swash in the club with unrelenting novelty effect,

the track makes for a ravishingly disparate patchwork of Emmanuel’s influences,
from blazing, acid-informed electronics to bassy deconstructionism, via revamped
house and techno tropes.
Emmanuel’s formative years at London’s reputed record store, Kristina Records,
helped him forge the distinctive, all-embracing approach that can be felt through his
sets and material, as made further obvious on his maiden full-length from 2021 for
Going Good, “Techno Man’s Land”.
Mapping his own route at large from normative barricades, the E-Talking project has
been gathering momentum with some choice contributions to the catalogues of
imprints as varied as Early Reflex, Nerv, Nasty Enterprises and Chanoirs. In the
wake of his acclaimed two-year residency on Rinse France and in parallel to regular
appearances on HÖR, Emmanuel’s line of action is just about to reveal in all its
glorious scope and scale, so better keep your ear to the ground.

Pleased to introduce our next guest Benjamin Fröhlich, for the 2nd instalment of Re-Leaf radio. As a highly prolific DJ/Producer and co-heading one of electronic music's most highly esteemed labels 'Permanent Vacation Records', he contributes enormous amounts to the global music community. His sound unique in its own write, weaves through uplifting old school house, indie, progressive and balearic, including all of this and more in this incredible 60 minute mix he has so kindly prepared for us!

Benjamin Fröhlich has struck many chords in the arena of electronic music over the past years: as a DJ, label owner and producer.
He is the co-founder of Permanent Vacation - one of the strongest running labels that has delivered genre-defining hits over the past decade. As such Benjamin Fröhlich has worked together with the household names of the international electronic dance scene. Artists on Permanent Vacation's roster include Massimiliano Pagliara, Perel, John Talabot, Todd Terje, Mano Le Tough,Chloe, Red Axes, Lauer, Fort Romeau, Pional and many more.

On top of his dedication to explore and feature rising as well as accomplished artists, Benjamin Fröhlich himself has emerged as a producer of vibrant tracks that are testament to his versatile and compelling approach to club music. His own productions and remixes are very well received by DJs and clubbers alike and got played all around the globe.

Starting out as a record shop owner in his hometown Munich (prior to his PV label work), Benjamin Fröhlich has developed an uplifting style in his DJ sets, which fuses House, Disco and Cosmic into hypnotic and enthusiastic nights. Through his in-depth background, Benjamin Fröhlich passionately combines the unforgettable past and the gripping present with the hits of tomorrow.

Introducing ENNE for the third instalment for Re-Leaf, former 1/3 of the Naarm female collective, Mix’d Intentions, while away from mixer, 1/2 of the multidisciplinary installation platform, Body Territory, curating unifying spaces for Melbourne’s music scene. Combining humble atmospherics into steppy tunes, delving into proto house, old school acid and dubby soundscapes, one to suit both the contemplative and charging ear, expect a hybrid of both currents.

Next up we welcome Amsterdam based DJ and producer Perdu aka Alain van der Born. Perdu is someone who we admire very much as an artist in all aspects! As a DJ he encapsulates anything from high energy Italo to old school 90s progressive. His productions are also always at a primo standard, making his mark on labels like Optimo, Live at Robert Johnson & David Vunk's Moustache Records and many more over the years. We are so pleased to have him as a guest for the 4th instalment of Re-Leaf Radio and we hope you enjoy this stellar 60 minute mix he put together as much as we are !!

We are incredibly excited to welcome our next guest Kuba, hailing from Tel Aviv. A true digger, we were completely blown away when we heard this one. A completely sophisticated vinyl only blend incorporating nostalgic, groovy, euphoric, deep and melodic blends. In Kuba's words 'This mix creates for me a perfect story of old school sounds for your own thoughts journey". Working on his craft for so many years under-the-radar, digging endlessly to create the perfect sound for himself, we are so happy to give him the recognition and platform he deserves.

Next up on Re-Leaf Radio we have London based newcomers, Ordinary Mornings, who have delivered a stunning hour of groovy, dreamy and nostalgic progressive house.

The DJ and production duo are childhood friends that grew up with a mutual appreciation for the eclectic and have loved sharing and immersing themselves in music together.
 
As DJ’s and producers, the pair draw influence from House, Trance, and Balearic to name a few. They channel a free-spirited energy and invest time in finding and providing sounds that will bring people together. 
 
After kicking things off in 2022 with guest mixes for Pleasure Voyage, Dream Chimney, and more recently, WhyPeopleDance, Ordinary Mornings intend to maintain this upward trajectory by playing across the UK and Europe, as well as releasing their debut EP this year.

Sun is shining and the next guests for Re-Leaf radio couldn’t have soundtracked this day any better! We are pleased to present EP 009 courtesy of Melbourne based duo Midnight Boil aka DJs Casper Collins and DJ Juice. 

They first caught our attention with their epic vinyl only streamed mix from the @area3000 studios a couple of months back and they certainly didn’t disappoint with this one either! Originating as a renegade rave run from the tray of ute, Midnight Boil swiftly evolved into a series of electrifying raves that adorned the streets of inner Naarm and Eora. Obsessively digging for many years, they have curated a sound pulsating with nostalgic rhythms, uplifting melodies and dark grooves. Infused with the spirited aura of the 90s, Midnight Boil have remained dedicated to unpretentious revelry, infusing each performance with an infectious sense of fun and euphoria. 
All music in this mix is from the period that influenced them so heavily: 1992-1996.

Next up on Re-Leaf radio we are very pleased present this sensational vinyl mix, strung eloquently together by Groningen (NL) Dj Jelte. Over the years, Jelte has continuously evolved, focussing his enthusiasm into an impressive exploration of electronic music. Guided by Netherlands based party KopjeK, he refined his skills and developed a versatile style, drawing inspiration from his early passion for 90s music. 

Nowadays, Jelte is always pushing boundaries, experimenting with vinyl to keep his sound fresh and innovative. This mix reflects that so have fun listening!

We are pleased to welcome this mix from one of the emerging figures of the current underground French electronic scene, the skillful Dj/Producer Clint, taking the reigns for EP014 of Re-Leaf Radio. 

Inspired by the 90 and 00s zeitgeist of prog-house, dance & trance, Clint made his path into the electronic landscape with a bunch of releases on Gestalt, Correspondant Permanent Vacation amongst others..  His productions are like his sets, energetic, euphoric and are influenced by the dance era from the 90s. This mix is nothing short of a perfect representation of what this talented artist can do. Lock in, for a 60 minute excursion of wonderful progressive house and trance.

We are delighted to welcome our next guest for Re-Leaf Radio, the Berlin based, DJ/Producer 131bpm.

Settled in the queer party scene, 131bpm is a dancefloor trouble maker. Influenced by various electronic music sub-genres like vocal house, Detroit classic electro-breaks, 90s progressive and Latin music, his sets are always sweaty and sexy, scattered with catchy basslines, nasty vocals and bouncy percussions.

This vinyl only mix starts with an ode to New York early 90’s dance music, where 131bpm just came back from, loaded with 12inch weapons ready to burn down dancefloors. It progressively switches then to a less serious and more UK vibe, inspired by the queer northern late 90’s scene.

For this episode of Re-Leaf Radio we are pleased to welcome Vietnamese born, Paris based DJ,Producer and co-founder of label 'Smiling Phases', NairLess.

Beginning his music journey as a classically trained pianist, he incorporates his wealth of technical knowledge into not only his productions, but also in his DJ sets. He has been on our radar from quite some time as we first caught on to his incredibly dreamy house and trance tinged productions a couple of years back.

This mix showcases NairLess' love for old school 90’s early trance, balearic, progressive house, as he indulges us in 60 minutes of melodic and tribal bliss.

Stepping up to the plate for the second release of our catalog, we are pleased to share 'Aura Protocol', a four-track collection that taps into the emotive and melodic depths of 90s influenced progressive house from Mexico based Producer, Mahkina. 

The A1 track ‘God, How Do I Handle This’ kicks off the EP with an introspective mood, blending atmospheric pads and hypnotic bass-lines. The deep, melodic structure recalls the emotional core of 90s prog, while evolving into an intricate tapestry of sounds. The second track ‘Flavour & Spice’ plays into Mahkina's latin roots. A fusion of playful percussion, and lush chord progressions, evoking the vibrant energy of classic 90s house, with an added modern twist from the artist's production style.

Flipping over to the B-Side, ’Sacoodelo" takes listeners to a well placed euphoria. Combining driving rhythms with evolving loops and rich synth work, its experimental side takes influence from the rhythmic structures of classic trancey house. The final track ‘Connected’ feels like the emotional and sonic culmination of the EP. Taking the listener on a more expansive journey, weaving through moments of tension and release via atmospheric build-ups, emotional breakdowns, and a sense of resolution toward the end.

RLF002 is a well represented embodiment of Mahkina's ability to fuse classic styles with contemporary sounds, resulting in an immersive, dynamic listening experience that resonates with both the heart and the body.
