Berlin-based Mona Moore has been a passionate lover of electronic music since the year 2000. Sooner or later, she just had to venture behind the decks. She had her debut in what she now calls "her living room" - the iconic Berlin club, KaterBlau. Since then, she has performed innumerable times both within and outside of the capital. 

Over the last year or so, Moore has entered the production side of things with original releases on Katz&Kauz and Rebellion der Traumer. Mona describes her music as describes a deep, groovy and melodic techno / deep house. Her philosophy when she is playing: "Sharing the love of music and thereby forgetting a few hours of space and time"

We have been following Mona Moore for a couple of years now, and love her unique take on melodic techno. We are super grateful for this exclusive mix, Institution 069: Mona Moore

January 18th was my first gig of 2025 in Frankfurt. It was a co-event by Rebellion der Traümer and Tanzhaus West called "Berliner Naechte". My 3rd time playing in this club and, as always, I loved every sec of it.

STRANGE IN -  STRANGE OUT

Nach 3 Tagen Verarbeitung befinden wir uns noch immer auf Wolke 7 gefüllt mit Flashbacks und absoluten Glücksgefühlen, finden aber so langsam wieder Worte, um das letzte Wochenende zu beschreiben. 

Abgesehen von dem Dielenboden in unserer Wohnung - der deutlich weniger kaugummiverklebt ist - haben wir auf keinen anderen Holzbrettern so viele Emotionen erlebt wie im Hopper. Insofern war es für uns eine absolute Herzensangelegenheit, ein Mal dort Reiseleiter zu spielen, um etwas von dem zurückzugeben, was wir dort über Jahre erlebt haben. Ein Mal die eigene Energie mitgeben…

Als die überraschende Anfrage von Mona kam, genau an diesem Ort zu unserer liebsten Zeit - Sonntag von 8-11 Uhr morgens - zu spielen, saß der Schock im positiven Sinne groß. Dann noch auf der Enorm in Form….
Wir waren gerade dabei, erstmal von bestimmen Dingen Abschied zu nehmen, um uns ganz auf einen neuen, abenteuerlichen Zustand einzustellen 🤰🏼 erwiesen uns aber als sehr flexibel 😼 und widmeten uns dankend sowie ausgiebig der Setvorbereitung. 

Die Euphorie auf den Sonntagmorgen wurde am Vorabend durch das Artist Dinner mit tollen Menschen auf der Terrasse vom FAME so weit gesteigert, dass wir in der Nacht kein Auge zu machen konnten. Insofern konnten wir unsere Euphorie und positive Energie kurz vor Beginn des Sets leider nicht wie gewünscht abrufen. Das änderte sich aber schlagartig im Hopper. Von der ersten Sekunde an, konnten wir genießen. Die Freude und die Energie wurden jedes Mal größer, wenn wir einen Blick auf die Uhr und das Publikum warfen. Niemals hatten wir bis zum Schluss mit einem so vollen Hopper gerechnet. Wir fragten uns eher vorab, ob wir den ein anderen Track spielen würden, weil der auf einem leeren Hopper ggf. eher verloren wirkt. Gleichzeitig hatten wir aber unsere Hopper-Tracks zum Teil über Jahre gesammelt und wollten ihnen ihren Raum geben. 

Dass die Stimmung und die Energie an dem Morgen schließlich so unvergesslich wurden, lag letztlich an all den Leuten auf dem Floor. Ihr habt unseren Traum in der Realität noch getoppt. Wir danken euch so sehr, dass wir euch auf unser morgendliches Intervalltraining mitnehmen durften. Insofern galten die finalen Freudentränen in erster Linie euch und eurer Resonanz ❤️🙏🏼🥹

Abschließend an dieser Stelle nochmal riesiges Dankeschön an Mona und Marco aka Stan Starry. Für euch als Menschen, euer Vertrauen in uns und für die Organisation dieser etablierten Wahnsinnsparty mit jeder Menge Liebe zum Detail und Vitamin B. 
Ihr habt es mal wieder geschafft, den Kater von seiner aller besten Seite zu zeigen.

DJ RE-PEATER, formerly known as " DJ Mahasuka" in the trance scene, experienced his first dj skills in the fifth and sixths grade in the school disco. By end of the eighties he played in a autonomic youth center and in a hippie club raggamuffin - hip hop and acquired mixing on beats.

1993 he organized the first techno parties with some friends and moved shortly after to hamburg to start through as a dj with the people from 'spirit zone booking'.
First bookings in Europe and Overseas abroad followed quickly and in 1997 'Intact Instinct' was founded. A year later first 12" and LP took place amongst others. The sound was already close to strongly techno und it is quite obvious that Intact Instinct was significantly involved in spreading the "proggy sound" in the trance scene.

To be able to release under different lables "Peak Pilots" was formed with the same cast and to create an even more heavily sound, Peter founded with Seabstian Krüger (SBK) the "Disko Slickers". At all he released 3 Albums, around fifteen 12" and was signed on uncountable compilations world wide. 

In 2001 the label "Save to Disc Recordings" was developed where indigenous productions and music from friends like Andreas Krüger (Der Dritte Raum), Tim Healy and Patrick Zigon were released.

In 2004 after gigs on 5 continents in about 50 countries, Peter stepped back from the scene and basically took care about his children.

Since the kids became more independent by now Peter is back, after a 10 years break. Under the name "DJ RE-PEATER" he is still wowing the crowd on selected events with his unique style, beeing one of the most experienced and coolest dj's in the hamburg techno scene nowadays.
