As a highly particular release, Kittball is proud to present a reworked version of the classic house hit The Rub, hosted by Pete Tong as Essential New Tune in 2006 by German hero Kurd Maverick. The Revisit version of the original track supported by names like Carl Cox, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Erick Morillo or Josh Wink  has been rubbed into a modern and groovy flavor, being supported with a personal remix by the label owners Tube & Berger and Juliet Sikora as a collab, plus DJ Fronter from Colombia on this very special occasion, who debuts with a massive interpretation on the imprint. The last month of the year is here and elrow Music wants to start the celebration early, with the release of its ERM145th reference, in the form of a Various Artists EP. And this isn’t just any other EP. "elrow In Stereo Vol.1" is the first collaboration between elrow Music and Stereo Productions, the worldwide recognized platform of Chus & Ceballos.

In this first take, the Stereo crew has taken over our headquarters and have tailored a high rolling EP, with tracks by Chus & Ceballos with Melé, Danny Serrano, David Herrero and Rafa Barrios – all of them, familiar faces of the Stereo family –. Without a question, one of the big highlights of this V.A. is Chus & Ceballos collab with Melé, showing off their studio trickery. ‘Galera (Original Mix)’ is the track, that starts with a shy energy, but thanks to the African percussion, the atmosphere and melodies that guide the track, the chanted vocals and the overall progression its turns itself into a techy beast, perfect for peak times on the dancefloor.

[Diynamic] Coyu & Edu Imbernon - Morena

German house masters Tube & Berger and Juliet Sikora have announced that they will be releasing the third volume in the 'It Began In Africa' compilation series on Kittball Records. For this, the label have teamed up with "The African Children's Choir", licensed their music and organised a selection of producers to remix them whilst contributing their royalties to the choir. The money will provide shelter, education and a new home for African children in need.

The first two compilations generated over 15,000 Euros which were used to support the choir and its social projects. The funds enabled the building of nurseries and schools to help children get away from life in the streets and this new edition includes tracks from Dario D'Attis, Flashmob, Josh Butler, Mat.Joe, Magdalena, Riva Starr, Walker & Royce and many more.

This is a deep and afro-tinged selection of house tracks that take us back to the roots of rhythm, embalming the earthy grooves with all manner of melodies, tribal percussive patterns, cosmic signifiers and more in between.
