Premiere of 'Wrong Way ' by Oxygeno, taken from Shocked By Reality EP forthcoming on Soma

Oxygeno returns to Soma marking his first solo release on the label with Shocked By Reality. After impressing with his contribution to the Collective Process VA series, the young Spanish producer drops 3 expertly crafted sliced and raw, deep yet energetic techno. Rush Hour opens with driving, siren like synths that pulsate throughout the track creating a dark and sinister tone. Title track Shocked By Reality delves deeper as Oxygeno develops a more tunnelling sound with uniques synths works and deep acid bass. Wrong Way completes the EP with a journey through space as twisted, looped out synths warp reality while more jacked up drums set the pace perfectly.

In the authors words, this EP was recorded while he was restructuring his modular equipment. 

This "always provides an exciting moment of exploration and discovery of new sounds. I added quite a few new modules in that time and, in my experience, that is one of the best opportunities to have happy accidents in the studio because the system itself takes me to a combination of sound sources, sequencers and effects that work together". Hence the name Unruly Machines. "Ive experimented a lot with spectral techniques and layering, which is most prominent in the textures of Corridor and the main synth line of Targa. The tracks were also created in a phase where I started incorporating more and more dedicated drum modules. 

The first order of business was, of course, to route them through a bunch of external effects (mainly distortion and delays), which contributed to the raw sound of some of the tracks".

Swedish techno DJ & producer RE_MAART
Industrial, hypnotic & driving techno since mid 90's.
Releases on Remain Records, Hivemind & Naked Lunch etc..

RE_MAART has been playing electronic music for exactly 30 years this year. With passion for hypnotic & driving techno often with a certain energy, he definitely has his own signature sound.

The rise to his present status did not happen overnight, everything started early in the 90's, when he discovered his brother’s record collection. Back then it was all about Techno and Acid House and later Trance was a big inspiration.
He has been playing records since the mid 90′s across clubs in Scandinavia and also organizing events in Gothenburg's underground scene. His focus and style in his DJ sets is to play Industrial, hypnotic and driving Techno often with high energy and straightforward baselines.

Music production started in 2010 with different aliases but in 2018 he decided to change to RE_MAART and focus on his own signature techno sound.
In Recent years he has released music on labels such as Remain Records, Hivemind, Naked Lunch, Groove Shack Records, Aesthetics Records, Shadow State, Defmain Music, Forge Records, Boiler Underground Records and Yellow Recordings etc..
His hard work in the studio and behind the decks has made him an artist to definitely keep an eye on at the techno scene.
