Eva Bohnen is a DJ and producer based in Rotterdam. Her love for underground techno stems from the rave scene of the 90s and the alternative punk culture where her roots lie. These influences are noticeable in her sound which can be characterized as raw and intense. Together with Denn Punk she curates MEUK Collective, an oldschool techno collective and record label. They just hosted their first event and earlier this year Eva released her new 2-tracker solo Bliep EP. Sverige har länge varit en kraft att räkna med på technokartan. Redan på 90-talet satte pionjärer som Adam Beyer, Joel Mull och Cari Lekebusch vårt land i världens technospotlight – och det arvet lever vidare, starkare än någonsin.

I denna episoden av Techno Tuesdays tar den senaste generationens drivande krafter över stafettpinnen - CC Luna, MarAxe och Re_Maart – och de gör det med en kompromisslös, rå intensitet som bär våra färger med stolthet.

Legendary Awesome Techno Tuesdays: Episode II (142 BPM)

Technostate Inc. is a Techno movement from the northern part of The Netherlands, with a clear preference for the underground sound. Technostate Inc. was founded in January 2015 and started as a counterbalance against the larger, already established Dutch dance event organizations. 

Together with several clubs Technostate Inc. organizes Techno events throughout the Netherlands such as Subsonic (Groningen), Club Hemingway (Leeuwarden) and many more. Besides organizing indoor club-events on a frequent basis, Technostate Inc. hosted stages at festivals such as Play! Festival, Kingsday Outdoor | Club Hemingway and Amsterdam Dance Event.

BIOGRAPHY

Swedish techno DJ & producer RE_MAART
Industrial, hypnotic & driving techno since mid 90's.
Releases on Remain Records, Hivemind & Naked Lunch etc..

RE_MAART has been playing electronic music for exactly 30 years this year. With passion for hypnotic & driving techno often with a certain energy, he definitely has his own signature sound.

The rise to his present status did not happen overnight, everything started early in the 90's, when he discovered his brother’s record collection. Back then it was all about Techno and Acid House and later Trance was a big inspiration.
He has been playing records since the mid 90′s across clubs in Scandinavia and also organizing events in Gothenburg's underground scene. His focus and style in his DJ sets is to play Industrial, hypnotic and driving Techno often with high energy and straightforward baselines.

Music production started in 2010 with different aliases but in 2018 he decided to change to RE_MAART and focus on his own signature techno sound.
In Recent years he has released music on labels such as Remain Records, Hivemind, Naked Lunch, Groove Shack Records, Aesthetics Records, Shadow State, Defmain Music, Forge Records, Boiler Underground Records and Yellow Recordings etc..
His hard work in the studio and behind the decks has made him an artist to definitely keep an eye on at the techno scene.
