Power Down in Sector 1 [2021 Ver.]

"The Hunter's Legend" is partially inspired by a previous mashup I released named "Flaahgra's Rebirth. It was less of a track & more of a concept piece that explored some ideas that I wasn't quite skilled enough to implement at that time. Now with over a decade of mashup experience under my belt, I present a brand new track that explores the concepts I was intrigued by in that original piece.

This is also the first mashup I've ever released to feature some unique compositions by myself, though that's a very small portion of the piece & it is ultimately still a mashup at the end of the day.

This is part of an ongoing project to celebrate Metroid's 35th anniversary in the month of May, cleverly dubbed "Maytroid".

The Hunter's Legend

The worlds of Metroid & Doom collide once more in day 7 of #Maytroid, a celebration of Metroid's 35th anniversary during the month of May. In this piece, Adam Malkovich helps Samus locate her Grapple Beam at a remote Space Pirate cultist facility. It seems after the events of Metroid Fusion, everyone wants Samus dead. She's going to need all the upgrades she can get to fend off the bounty on her head...

Heretic, Hunter [Metroid Vs. Halo Mashup]

In an alternate timeline of Doom Eternal, Deag Ranak, the second Hellpriest builds his fortress on the remains of Dark Aether. There he discovers the remains of the Emperor Ing, resurrecting its corpse to use as a guardian in hopes to stop the Doom Slayer. To destroy this grotesque Lovecraftian terror, the Slayer seeks the help of the original warrior who defeated the beast beforehand...

"Rock on Samus!" was the first mashup I had ever produced, and it was heavily inspired by "Brinstar Rock" by Hauntershadow, a mashup producer I highly look up to. For Metroid's 29th birthday I made 3 special Metroid mashups, including this brand new take on my introduction to the mashup community. With my skills and experience far surpassing my last attempt, I do think this turned out much better!

Rock on Samus! [Version 2]

Of the 3 mashups I released today for Metroid's 29th birthday, this is BY FAR my favorite. It takes the essence of Metroid and infuses it with various instrumental takes from Five Finger Death Punch's debut album, "The Way of the Fist". By the end, you will indeed be ready to take back control with your arm canon.
