Moving from our beloved mountain house to my new place in Catskill has been an epic upheaval, but creator’s blessings stay infinitely abundant, and I remain eternally grateful and positive about my fresh start in this beautiful new home.

Sharing these mixes is my way of paying it forward. This music helped me through the struggle and, whatever you're going through, I hope it helps you too…

Here she is… A couple of days late because the wee man was under the weather, but tbh I needed extra time to get through all the new music this month. More feelings means more tunes I guess and this seems like a good moment to slow down, reconnect and gather strength. I hope my mix helps you with this process...

Whether we are aware of it, or not, our days on this precious planet are measured in moons… Even the word “month” is derived from “moon”. But our calendar months are arbitrary concepts, abstracted from the great glowing sphere in the sky, that as it waxes and wanes reminds us that we are all passing through time & space together…

I miss DJing in a room full of friends with a sense of meaning, camaraderie and occasional drama in the air… Post covid / moving upstate / becoming a dad, I mostly DJ alone and these mixes are me trying to reach through the speakers to touch y’all and reconnect… But ultimately, I know we have to do this IRL, so if you feel what I do and think you might know a good spot for me, hit me up.

In February 2024, during a period of intense turmoil in my life, I committed to doing MOON MiXES as a way to connect with what has always gotten me through the toughest times… great music and friends.

One year later, I'm happy to report making these mixes has helped me tremendously. I'm so grateful for all the love and support I've received from sharing this music and hope it has in someway helped you along the way too…

This is the 13th and final MOON MiX, but this project is also a precursor to the launch of Radio Reachout, from where I will keep live streaming and sharing regular mixes… Stay tuned!!

Usually for these mixes I go over the last couple of months of discovered music and pick the coolest tracks. But this mix is different. I was listening to all of this music on a beautiful beach trip the other day while celebrating the equinox. It was an epic and blissful day and I wanted to commemorate it…

So I share this mix, not only as a means of escape, but as a reminder of all the natural beauty and serenity in the world that is worth fighting for.
