It takes a great act to get you off your seat after a long day at a fest. And it takes an even greater act to get you near moshing. The Spoondogs take home our award for best surprise of the night, hidden outside and closing out the Respectable Street Patio stage, it reminded us of some the greatest garage shows, with ferocity and reckless abandon meant to inspire and inspire appreciation for rock in and of itself.

We felt that and more witnessing this act perform at Bumblefest 2019.

Makoto were one of our picks as stand-out act of Bumblefest 2019 in it's entirety and we still stand behind our belief that the act deserved a headlining slot.
Closing out the Voltaire stage at just a little past 1am, they had all in attendance in total astonishment at the pure magic coming from the stage.
