In this episode I speak to Oscar Morris from Melbourne band The Overheads. 

Oscar and I discuss the lyrics he's written recently, where they came from and its themes.

episode one: Oscar Morris reads some lyrics

<3 welcome to the episode two of Read Me Your Work <3

In this episode I speak to Dan Oke, front person of Melbourne band Jarrow. Also, he plays bass or guitar or drums in about one million other bands all the time,  so you've definitely seen him around.

Dan and I discuss the lyrics of his song Project X Prodigy, to be released on Jarrow's forthcoming self-titled record, out on May 22. Dan's last two albums are brilliant to listen to, diverse and weird and exciting. His lyrics are always so pointed but simultaneously ambiguous. It was great to have a chat about it.

In this episode I wanted to transition into visual readings of work. I spoke to Zoe Baumgartner,  multidisciplinary designer and photographer whose work investigates human and non-human relationships, interactions, and reliances- exploring how they grow and develop, and why. 

Zoe and I discuss her latest work, a typeface called 'Pantomime'. 

'PANTOMIME is a playful sans serif typeface drawn for the film Pantomime by Trudi Treble and Bonita Carzino. The typeface takes inspiration from Jean Luc Godard’s hand cut title sequences, and the ideas behind Swiss punk and new wave typography.'
