House Keepers Records ends another fine year with a second superb Various Artists compilation. Don’t Forget To Go Home features eight bustling tracks of club-ready house from label regulars and newer associates such as Rob Stillekens, Diego Lima, and Fenky.

Florida based House Keepers Records hails from Orlando but has now built a global reputation. As well as throwing popular block parties, the label also brings something fresh to the US scene through its carefully curated radio shows and releases. The team behind it has a forward-thinking vision that has
injected real innovation, not least with March's essential 12 track collection, Bad Boyz.

Slugg featured on that compilation and kicks this one off in style with 'For Da Peeps.' It has a driving drum and bass combo with classic vocal samples lighting up the groove with real attitude. Too Heavy Crew live up to their name with the raw and edgy tech house of 'Gimmie,' and Fenky's 'Raymond' sinks
into a deep, well-swung groove that's warmed through with neon chords.
Copasetic is another returning artist whose brilliant '2 Step' builds the pressure with kinetic drum programming and chattery vocals. There is a real force in 'Properly' by Diego Lima and another timeless vocal sample that really stands the track out. Jay Roman offers the excellently punchy house of 'Shake Baby' whilst Phoenix Jagger's 'Run Away' is a sax-laced house tune with soul and party spirit. Rob Stillekens closes down with a stripped-back basement sound, and seductive vocal on the fantastic 'Try To Understand.'

A shot to savour, the only way is up on ‘Down It’, a commotion of lively percussion rattling every available surface, and a bass throb consuming big rooms from top to bottom. Setting the foundation for some international hip-house, vocals doing call & response drills to get crowds swinging back and forth, the track unlocks computer game freak-outs along the way. It’s heavyweight, but doesn’t forget to have fun.
 
The same can be said for the sneakily hypnotic ‘Check Out’ – no-time-to-waste, deep house with plenty of clout, and more rap attitude on the vocals, making the dancefloor a fizzing mass of funky lava. Tribal Digs - is an ep filled with tribal and afro adventure. sounds that were other known bigger than the hot body records sound. normally we release a state of the underground but this high fueled pace release stretches a big mainstream (yet still underground) sound. after big beatport labels try to utilize sampling or congas in a way of a standpoint. hot body records on this release is trying to be only cool for what they can with a stellar tribal or other known percussive house release. Other Mamba is the release embrace of tribal sampling with spanish taste of latin house crave.
