Neon Dreams is my debut album release and a very eclectic compilation of original VGM inspired music (and 2 covers!) I composed and/or arranged over the course of the past 2 years with some help from Rudy Escobar and Trevin Huges (Jredd) collaborating with me on a good portion of the tunes. 

Every song on this album was lovingly crafted for maximum listening enjoyment using various video game console trackers (VGM MM, Famitracker, Deflemask as well as Renoise and guitars recorded in Reaper.

Fairgrounds Theme

Another Shovel Knight cover. I've been trying to get a working sound out of this track for a while. This track took a different approach for me. Gone are the guitar sounds I've used before. Replacing them is the DAC channel using a randomized custom waveform. The original chipset for the Genesis could be jerryrigged to play more than one sample at the same time, so this one is playing three or four depending on the situation. Drums are them FM and Noise based. I like the sound alot and I'll be remembering it for later tracks.

I've had this thing finished for several months but never bothered to upload it, so I thought it'd be neat to have it up for christmas so yea, cool.

This is mostly just me using the Shovel Knight instruments to create an arrangement, I took most of my inspiration from The Betrayer obviously tho the intro uses some instruments from Flowers Of Antimony, but yeah a lot of it is just me dicking around till I thought I had something that sounded neat so it's not supposed to be like a perfect 1 to 1 with any specific Shovel Knight track lol.
