Kirby's Adventure - Grape Garden [2A03+VRC6]

This is an experimental song inspired by Yousuke Yasui and +TEK, i wanted to combine FM elements with x68k drum samples and some other new instruments i wanted to try out.
It's like a bootleg version of the song "Yokai Disco" by Yousuke Yasui.
I got a lot of new instruments, over like 2000, so i'm trying out a lot of new experimental stuff to get a feel for the instruments.
This isn't really a long song, but i don't really count it as a "full quality" Sylvy song, since it's very experimental, but i thought maybe it would be fun to show you all.

Youkai Disco (Yokai Is Not The Same As Youkai)

Sorry for the long hiatus between posts! Right now, I'm focusing on my book. I'm probably going to redo this from scratch as parts of it don't really 'work' for me, but we'll see. (I mean, I ripped myself off with the guitar solo towards the end. Oof.)
I do hope you enjoy this WIP off of an album due sometime next year. (Read: After The Bad Friend releases, which is going to be a while away, 'cause the book comes first!) This track is off the next of the 'Capel Albums' as I've taken to calling them -- the first of which was Planet Aloha.

here's my first exploration with the elektron model:cycles. I just got it and loving it so far. there's a lot more depth to this groovebox than you might think on first impression.

I started my musical journey with sega genesis fm chiptune, so this to me feels like going back and seeing an old friend. there's so much you can do, it's really not just metallic percussive sounds :)
