The first 2021 original release from @modelman has arrived in the form of energetic new single ‘Sweet Surrender’, out July 9 via Mahogany Records.

Pairing pitched-up vocals and breakbeats with poignant piano chords and fluttering soundscapes, ‘Sweet Surrender’ finds a middle ground between rave-era hedonism and introverted ambient electronica.

Speaking about the making of ‘Sweet Surrender’, Model Mans says, “I made Sweet surrender between 3:AM and 7:AM fuelled on fizzy drinks. The BPM went up in accordance with my heart rate lol.

“I played the piano motif on my upright that was slightly out of tune at the time. For me, 'Sweet Surrender' is about re aligning with the natural urges. going on pure instinct. Letting go. Outer body type stuff.”
