Hello there and welcome to REBELS UNITED SERIES! Today we are featuring our great friend SOPHEE! 

Showing no signs of slowing down, Sophee has established herself over the course of 2019 as a bright spot on the international dance scene. Based out of Tampa, FL she has been crafting her brand of feel good house music across the state of Florida and beyond, fusing the sounds of classsic disco heaters with club heavy basslines.
The past year has seen her momentum grow with memorable sets in venues such as Miami's iconic South Beach club Treehouse, Tampa's infamous Jackson's nightclub and terrace, St. Petersburg's widely acclaimed Morph, Orlando's famed Celine rooftop, and many more.

Sharing the booth with dance music icons Victor Calderone, Mija, Anthony Attalla, Prok | Fitch, Leftwing : Kody, Kevin Knapp, and others has further driven Sophee's captivating energy and hustle. With 2022 on the horizon, she plans to introduce her sound on an even larger global scale and looks forward to seeing you on the dance floor.

Our next guest comes all the way from Miami! Known for his hip hop beats and tech house music, he goes by the name @dimeloderek! 
Producing for about 4 years now. Hip Hop, Reggeaton, and Tech House is his forte and of course DJing open format to groovy tech house. Derek’s goal is be able to make an impact on the music industry and make people feel something they’ve never felt before. Working with hip hop artist @theboydanny and releasing his own tech house tracks, to performing at clubs like Cafeína Wynwood to name one. Derek is making his name known and his here to make an impact and we are stoked to have him apart of the Rebel family.

THE HIDEOUT SERIES : EP 020: DANIELLE SIMEONE

The time has come! As part of our Rebel Women Takeover, we have @kristinwilson.dj!  Kristin Wilson is a Miami-based house and minimal DJ, also known for her YouTube travel channel, Traveling with Kristin. Her musical acumen has been developed over 20 years of living abroad in 60 countries. 

She draws inspiration from her Romanian heritage as well as her previous home bases of London, Amsterdam, and the beaches of Mexico and Costa Rica. 

Originally a Florida native, Kristin moved to Miami in 2020 to focus on music, where she trained under @differ.ok and @tonyguerra at @helloshyft. She has since played at top local venues such as 1-800-Lucky, Treehouse, the Freehold in Wynwood, Blondish’s Abracadabra on Twitch, and held a weekly residency at Sky Yard Music Bar in Miami Beach.

Agustina Azul continuously makes her statement as a DJ/producer and singer/songwriter in the house scene. She has played at hundreds of shows located in Washington D.C all the way throughout Miami, Baltimore, and Boston. Since emerging in 2019, this Chilean-born creator has gained recognition not only through her DJing but through her featured vocals in R&B, HipHop, and house. As of recent her focus has been on the underground deep melodic and progressive sound. She's here for those who live passionately through music, for those who dream, and for those who want to escape... because we all need that person from time to time.

THE HIDEOUT SERIES : EP 024: AGUSTINA AZUL

The time has come! Our next special guest is @meauxandromeda! Meaux was born and raised in the home of the bass sound, Miami-Dade County. She’s an audiophile with extensive knowledge of and passion for all things musical. Since 2010, she has worked with underground artists, creative design brands, and record labels, assisting and managing their social media presence. As a music writer with numerous published interviews and record reviews on blogs such as Strictly Nu-Skool, Dub Radio, and dnbuniverse.com, she continues to do her part to showcase artists worldwide.

In 2017, Meaux bought her first pair of Technics, on which she practiced her beatmatching skills daily, landing her first live vinyl gig in Miami toward the end of 2020. Presently, she’s a resident DJ host for WECU (East Coast Underground), a monthly radio show on Mixlr.com, hosting guest mixes from multigenre artists in electronic music and dropping beats live from the studio along with a rotating roster of resident DJs. Known for her keen ear when it comes to the sounds of Jungle/Drum & Bass, Meaux is also heavily versed in a variety of other genres such as IDM, electro, breaks,  techno, deep house, and much more.

THE HIDEOUT SERIES : EP 026: MEAUX

Pompilio is a 23-year old DJ based in Miami. He comes from a Hispanic background as he was born in Venezuela but grew up in Puerto Rico and Miami. From a very young age Pompilio had a deep love for music and as he grew up he started to love and appreciate it even more. He enjoys a wide variety of music genres which shows a lot when he performs. 

At the age of 14, Pompilio attended his first electronic music festival. At first, he was into dubstep and trap but as time passed he kept exploring the different sounds of electronic music. Around the age of 18 he finally found House Music and Techno and ever since then he hasn’t looked back. Instead, the love for it just kept growing to the point that he decided to start mixing just to mess around. Turns out that as he started learning he really liked it so he decided to start to record mixes and create a page to post his content. After a couple of mixes and gaining the confidence to play in front of other people he decided to start looking for some gigs. 

After a year and half of just playing in his bedroom and playing at small house parties, Pompilio has had the opportunity to play at some venues around Miami such as Treehouse, Bacanno, Sky Yard, amongst other venues/events and private parties. He’s still hungry for more and is constantly looking for more venues and events to play at. 

Also, he is constantly working on making mixes which he releases on his SoundCloud to keep his sound up to date. Pompilio has a deep passion for tech house, techno, Afro house, and melodic house/techno. You could expect to hear some of this at one of his gigs or on one of his mixes.

The time has come! We are at our final episode of the season! And to celebrate, we have our very amazing friend @_clawz_ close out our season! 

Anna Vaughan AKA @Clawz is an Neo-Acid Techno DJ and producer based in Los Angeles, California. With 12+ years of piano under her belt already Clawz traveled to Berlin to discover her true passion. After being in the presence of some of today's top techno DJs like Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos and more she came back to American and studied at Cross Fader Academy... the rest was history.
DJing at street shuffle crew sessions Clawz quickly become known as an underground sensation packing rooms of sweaty dancers hoping to get a chance to check out one of her infamous seshs. 
After playing at a desert show, underground legend and Noche De Techno prexy Tony Laboy recognized her talent and opened the door to her to headline the infamous crews annual showcase. Since then Clawz has gone on to headline & perform at a number of events like Space Taco Tuesdays, Singularity LA, Relentless Beats Body Language Festival and Gold Rush Festival, Operandi Records, Techno Snobs AZ and Twisted Lines in Atlanta. 
With music influences such as 999999999, Jacidorex, Charlotte de Witte, Charlie Sparks, Dax J, and I Hate Models Clawz brings sounds of harder-edge techno with her signature 303 synthesizer dominating the room.

2AR cut his teeth in Denver’s scene, headlining at legendary nightclubBeta and playing large-scale events like Decadence, Global Dance Festival, Mile High Spirits Block Party, and Corona Electric Beach.
His move to Miami has immersed him into one of the world’s most thriving music cultures and is proving to be the perfect spring board for the next steps in his career. He carries a residency at Treehouse Miami, and has hit the festival Florida festival scene playing Countdown Orlando Invasion and Forbidden Kingdom.

Fresko has been able to perform at Treehouse Miami, Sky Yard , Le Rouge and Racket to name a few with a huge support from big local artist. Fresko is signed to Dark Shade Records with upcoming releases this year. This is one artist that you must put in your bucket list!

Martin Merino, based in Miami, has been listening to dubstep since he was 14 years old. He played his first show at just 16 years old and was known by prominent members in the scene. 8 years later, he has played all around Florida and continues to promote dub music and its culture. Not only are his DJ skills impeccable, his archive of rare dubplates is one of a kind. Dubstep is usually regarded as heavy bass music; however, the world of dub music is infinite. With this mix he takes us on a journey through dubtech, a mix of dub roots instrumentals and techno.

The time has come! Our next guest who is going to take us on a journey! Our great friend, @ossadani !!!

Colombian rooted and Miami based, Diossa was exposed to the industry at a young age. With her father being a renowned music producer and her mother a theater artist and club owner, she has grown up playing various instruments and an innate ability to connect and communicate through music. Her DJ sets are emblematic of her flavorful collection and knowledge of music.

Since making her Miami debut in 2020 Diossa has slowly but steadily been turning heads in the music scene. Some of her career highlights include playing at Elements Music Festival, ATV Records, Treehouse Miami, Celine Orlando, etc. Furthermore, opening for artists like Layton Giordani, Brian Cid, Serge Devant, Art Department, and Simon Vuarambon, just to name a few.

Diossa always looks at things from the perspective of the dance floor. Her sets are genre-bending, a delicate and thoughtful selection of techno, afro house, and indie rhythms.

For a proper Art Basel episode we thought we’d bring on the homies @blejo.music and @hazondj !

Blejo & Hazon, an up and coming Miami based duo quickly making their way up in the Miami music scene following the launch of their artist collective, Forest Fires Radio (FFR), only a year ago. 

Having deep Colombian roots, their sound has heavy tribal and Afro rhythms infused with the traditional tech house sound. 

The duo established their spot at Treehouse Miami as residents and have left their mark at the venue, having their inaugural FFR Showcase last month. 

The FFR mission is to boost all artists with no limitations on genre or creative avenues.

Their love for the culture and music, shows as they perform all over Miami and the United States with constant support from big local artist and big name artists. Los Tres Locos is making their name known and a force to be reckoned with. Remember the name!
