We're takin' it easy today with LADS' fantastic summer sip: the Slow Comfortable Screw Against The Wall. A riff on the Screwdriver, with Sloe Gin in place of Vodka, the Slow Crew cocktail family emerged in the 80s. LADS' version takes you on a sweet and sexy downtempo ride, perfect to while away a hot late summer night.  

Who are LADS? One German. One South African. Germafrican if you want. Meeting online (not Tinder), the two technical creatives ditched their failing modelling careers to make electronic music that babies are made to... This journey has led to the duo releasing on labels such as Lost & Found, Akbal, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Buddha Bar and seen their music supported by some of the biggest names in the industry including Solomun, Adriatique, Acid Pauli, Be Svendsen, Guy J and more. 

Being away from the clubs and festivals, the duo decided to go on a downtempo listening journey with their exclusive mix for Schirmchendrink.  "This really allows the listener to appreciate the space in between the rhythms and melodies. We named this mix after a cocktail out of the 1980s and 1990s with a racy name and definitely way too much sugar 😉  Enjoy this long comfortable screw against the wall. At least this time, it ain't in a dirty bathroom stall 😉!"

Recording from my opening set at 1015 Folsom for Bon Entendeur. Unfortunately due to bad audio, I had to remove the last 30 mins.   
This was my debut at 1015 Folsom and I couldn't hope for a better start in this club. The energy was amazing.

Once upon a time there was wizard who spoke he’s spells trough music. Wizard had a miracle way how to make you lost in time and present! Take you to the most imaginable places you can ever imagine - would it be out in deep space or back in ancient times of human civilizations. 
Who ever was in that very moment was under the spell of that music Wizard!
This mix is a interpretation about one magical night in a tent on a special island what is now sticked in our hearts forever! 
So if you listen it you can go back there and somehow feel and live trough it again and everyone else who was not there can have a little touch of that miracle what happened to us!

Thursday at Afrikaburn 2017.  We parked up facing the sun at the Dust Devils saloon and the platform for a great late afternoon session was provided with none other than @stereo-express.  Its been an fun and exhausting week.  Myself and Gerry was feeling the strain of the burn.  Nevertheless we got on The Dragon and gave it go.  This is what came from it.  Hope you guys enjoy it!
