Kevin Kristopher Marino, better known as RDM, was born on June 4th, 1996 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. RDM’s rise to find his way was not only a challenging course and path, but a life filled with battling demons, overcoming addiction, and trying to find his place in a world and environment rattled with adversaries.


Trying to find his way, RDM started to take an interest in music, composing his first set of lyrics and recordings in 2016. Also making videos to further project his music to the masses, taking advantage of platforms such as YouTube, using blueprints from artists like Hopsin, Eminem, and NF, among others. Obtaining a job at McDonald’s to make ends meet and also finance his career. But even with that, RDM would soon find his way into trouble and disparity.

Dealing with constant set backs and life seemingly throwing its worst at the young star, RDM soon turned to drugs and alcohol to help cope and deal with his struggles and pain. Early on, RDM didn’t realize that this would be a fight that would ensue for over 10 years.


RDM’s troubles only increased from there. RDM was beaten severely with brass knuckles from an assailant in May, 2020, resulting in his eye socket shattered, his temple severely cracked, and requiring facial reconstruction surgery. This event only fueled his need for drugs to combat his constant pain from the surgery.

On June 13th, 2020, RDM was nearly killed in a car crash that not only totaled his car, but landed the young MC with his first stint with law enforcement from being arrested which resulted in the near fatal accident. 

RDM completely stopped writing music as his need and addiction for drugs increased. Sending the young and promising MC down a path that most never make it out alive from. 

But this would not be his only brush with the law. In March 2021, RDM was arrested a second time. This time for possession.  

RDM started his long road of recovery entering rehab on April 1st, 2021 and has been sober and vowed to stay clean ever since. 

RDM released his first full length project “Vacant” early in 2023, but with this release, RDM changed from his once used sound. “ I shifted from what I was originally writing about. Smoking weed, drugs, drinking, ect, you know. The very vices I had once used that would have eventually killed me, into this adventure of overcoming addiction, recovery, and what I had endured in my addict phase of life, and now what is transpiring after. I cleaned up my lyrics. Removing all the swears and dumb ignorance I used to riddle my songs with. That’s not the image that I want for myself, or for the world to perceive me as only and once being. I now aim to help and aid others with my story, my music, my battles that I endured to not make the mistakes I did and if they are in that same mindset I once was, to show them that anybody can turn it around and to seek help. You owe it to yourself, your family. You’re not alone. The road and life of addiction is a lonely, and evil world. But you can beat it. You can overcome anything you’ve been through. I’m living proof!”


RDM has taken a complete 180 from the life he once knew. Working at a local footlocker, moving all the way up to assistant manager, and now working at a Mazda dealership, while working on new music that the MC is sure to change the world as we know it. “I’m clean, I’m sober, working the 9 to 5 gigs until the music takes off, my only logic is the helping hand of god. A power that was greater than myself and restored my life, and most importantly gave me a second chance, and I’m not going to waste that. “Vacant” is the first project that debuting my official start to the music world, but more importantly my comeback after a 4 year hiatus. Trust me, there’s a lot more coming. I hope the world is ready for it!!!”
