Following recent releases "Stampede" on Skrillex's OWSLA label and “Don’t Like To Do” on Claude Von Stroke’s Dirtybird label, Cause & Affect (aka Chris Lorenzo & Kane) return with a huge new single "Another Time" feat. Jamie George, out June 22nd on Fat! Records.   

Birmingham-based producer / DJ duo Cause & Affect, aka Chris Lorenzo and Kane, are widely acknowledged for pioneering the UK House / Bass hybrid sound. Big releases on legendary labels OWSLA, Dirtybird, Strictly Rhythm and Bromance, recent killer remixes for Grades, Shift K3y and Ten Ven & Ripley, plus a ground-breaking weekly show on Rinse FM, has seen them secure incredible, international radio and media support, making fans out of the likes of Skrillex, Claude Von Stroke, Annie Mac, Steve Aoki and Diplo along the way.

On "Another Time", Cause & Affect team up with Rinse Records vocalist Jamie George (known for his work with Zinc, Toddla T and Roska) - marrying a ridiculously catchy, topline melody with their monstrous, burrowing basslines.

With a phenomenal remix package courtesy of Taiki Nulight, Sinden, Ganzfeld Effect, Knoxa and Jakkin Rabbit, Another Time is set to take the club and festival stages by storm this summer, launching with  a very special, debut live performance of Another Time, with Cause & Affect accompanied by Jamie George, at Fabric on June 19th.

Ill Truth have been biding their time recently, spending hours in the studio to slowly build with expert electronic craftsmanship for the ‘Hollow Game EP’ which will add another monument towards their ascending career. Following a plethora of support on the scene’s most resounding, underground imprints, they’ve returned with ‘Lightbreak’ and ‘Hollow Game’, bringing the gritty, sub terranean sounds that they’re renowned for. Ensuring that they stay at the height of their game whilst paying homage to the type of drum & bass which act as the genre’s backbone, Ill Truth never sacrifices viability for commercial appeal, time and time again delivering cut after sonic cut that would easily find itself at home in the darkest of clubs.

With ‘Hollow Game’, Ill Truth draws you into their subtle, yet dynamic soundscape. However, this time you’re pulled into a softer shade of musicality. Featuring artist Michael E.T. adds his production ingenuity for the liquid track and female vocals are manipulated to add a rhythmic humanism to its melody. With each break propped up by cranking drum peddles and subtle quakes of bass, it’s easy to become lost in the ethereal side of Ill Truth’s discography. The producers use this single to demonstrate both their versatility and talent within the studio.
