Bertha Grober and Jannie Lee Culbreth created the song "Oh Pritchett, Oh Kelly" while in jail in Albany, GA. Grober had sung the solo of "Rockin Jerusalem" as a member of her high school choir, from which the arrangement of "Oh Pritchett, Oh Kelly" derives. The verses refer to Albany's Chief of Police Laurie Pritchett and Maya Asa Kelly, the jailers they sang this to while locked up for fighting for their rights.
