Although it feels like a better version, I feel like it feels something, like the reverse megalovania motif as well as the subtle freedom part it had in the original, however is still a good remake of the original theme

Going back to the song after quite a while I conclude that this track is amongst your best works, the general components blend along quite nicely while the.. motifs still are catchable for a hardcore fans ear, which I greatly enjoy in this

I like to think that this boss has parallels to the CORE itself (hence the leitmotif) and was built by Gaster to remove "foreign" threats like an antivirus does, the SOUL being one of them. Since the Core has the cyan lasers I guess that could be its soul mode, and it would function similarly to how certain antiviruses quarantine viruses.
