Truth returns with their second in a series of 3 EPs on DDD in 2022. "Afterlife" picks up where "Twinkle Toad" left off, diving deep with the title track. 'Afterlife' is soulful, smooth and warm. The drop led by a simple Bass guitar hook and ethereal filtered vocal. 

The rest of the EP follows on July 15th, marking the 95th EP release on Deep, Dark & Dangerous! 'Scarecrow' is a mixture of dark and light. Vibey melodic intro paired with a distorted, arpeggiated bass drop. 'Shire Dub' transports you straight back to Middle Earth where TRUTH originates. Flutes, strings, guitar and chanting in the intro devolve into something much more sinister and ominous. The drop itself is a straight stepper, no prisoners taken. Finally the EP rounds out with 'Lost In Time'. which is a track that could have come straight off TRUTH's 'Acceptance' LP. A catchy, hypnotic vocal loop over a deep rhythmical 808.

Honouring a deep longing to convey a passion that arises from somewhere far beneath a visible reality, Khiva attempts to bring the deep rooted to the surface.

Finding her true love within sonic sculpture and nurturing a propensity toward the emotionally fuelled and often dramatic, bass driven 140-centric styles offer a natural focal point, but in no way a limit, for her musical exports. Intricately crafting low frequency soundscapes and charging beats while fervently utilizing contrasts alongside often haunting and metaphorical lyrical stylings, she hopes to invoke a true experience in the listener.

With praised festival appearances, weighty slots alongside some of dubstep’s finest acts, successful headline shows and various international guest mixes, her intentional selections bring forth a contagious energy through lively and dynamic mixes, using the decks as a tool to channel the profound, moving and unexplainable in an experience through sound that goes much deeper than the eye can see.

Seeing a rapidly expanding tour schedule since the release of her debut EP in 2018, she has continued to push boundaries and make powerful impressions at some of bass music’s top events across the map, delivering standout sets at festivals such as Shambhala Music Festival (CA), Outlook Festival (EU), and Northern Bass (NZ). Generating undeniably impactful waves with her latest productions and compelling performances, including debuting her live vocal performance in 2019, her one of a kind sound continues to evolve and mark Khiva as a force to be reckoned with.
