"Trips to New York" is the heartbeat track from RdChuck's latest, and rawest, project entitled "The Dopest Shit Ive ever Heard." The track starts as a simple chordal idea that evolves into a sphere of sound, although a bit a untouched it poses moments of brilliance and bliss by the way the synthesizers create a sense of being up in the air as if you were on a plane to New York, while simultaneously the push in the bass synthesizers could make you feel more grounded as if you were on a train to New York, as stated true brilliance. Although this track is universes away from being a Rock anthem the riveting edgy crunched punchy solo by bassist J Garner adds an element of passion to the already life inspired piece. Yes its a bit lengthy, but a true audio joy to listen to on a long ride.

Undeniably the most emotionally charge piece of "TDSIH", Heart break, bitterness, pettiness, and all the emotions that go along with a relationship that has lasted too long and both parties are reluctant to let go, are the jewels that you will find in this piece of music. RdChuck uses the emotions of an inebriated fight between two sour lovers and turns them into a composition of enjoyable and understandable sound. The 2nd person letter addressed from her to him sets the stage for an intimate and reliving soundscape.

"Hmm This" is simply a beautiful emotion of sound. The melodic melody found in the electric piano is a peaceful chordal exchange, that is clever in delivery. The solo bassist accompaniment roots the electric piano in a melodic box that just pleasant to listen to. RdChuck and WillFloHz took the concept of a vibe and evolved it into music that is abstract and expressionistic. The title "Hmm this" begs you to try it, and as you do, you begins to grow fond of the piece even more.
