I've been sitting on a bunch of tracks during my journey of learning music production. I wanted to start sharing some of it, so you can listen along as I learn and get better. These may not be the cleanest mixed, or most coherent tracks I've ever made, but I wanted to  start from the beginning. Hopefully you hear an improvement along they way! I also hope posting them inspires me to produce more and more.

The Dream Team (Single)

This is a track I made in late 2022 (I think?). Continuing with releasing some of the backlogged tracks on my hard drive, I think this one shows some great improvements from the last track I released from the year previous. This was my first attempt where I felt that the vocals actually sounded decent. Hope you enjoy! 

It is being released on Spotify and Apple Music on January 26.

A little mini-mix I was asked to make for the Calgary Canucks Junior A hockey team. Fifteen minutes of EDM bangers and hits. Not my usual bag, but fun nonetheless!

Hockey Warmup Mix (Calgary Canucks)

My mix from Neon Jungle 2024. We had some fun with this one on a sunny day in August! That being said, the wind was so strong it almost took the stage down so thanks to all the dancers who kept the dancefloor warm. 

This one takes you on a journey through house music. Please excuse the technical difficulties near the beginning, and the DJ after me who started fading in a track with 5 minutes left in my set. Thanks for that. 

Other than that, I hope you enjoy!!! Shoutout to Jadé for the intro, and Al Donte for the kind words mid-set. And of course thanks to the whole Neon Crew for having me, and my groupies who inspired me to drop "Cowbells and Bitches". You know who you are.

Neon Jungle Mix 2024

This is a recording from a Valentines Day Party I hosted along with some good buddies in 2025. You better believe this one has the love flowing all over the dancefloor.

Okay. I Made a Disco (House) Mix.

The person that got me in to DJ'ing told me that recording mixes was a neat way to time capsule your life. Locking in the sounds you were listening to at a particular point in time. The last three weeks of my life have been a particularly challenging stretch, and I wanted to be sure to time capsule this moment. 

I hope you enjoy this two hour mix.

Time Capsule

Mason Jay, a self-proclaimed audio addict, crafts upbeat and eclectic sets that will transport you to the dancefloor, drawing from all frequencies of house music. He spent two years living in London, England, where he joined Music Box Radio as a resident and launched his show ‘The Landing Pad’. In London, he blossomed as a DJ, playing for crowds across the capital, including a residency with Disco Jukebox in East London.

Mason spends considerable time as a promoter as the man behind Stay Vigilant Productions (SVP). SVP (founded by him) is a local production company intent on elevating Calgary’s electronic music scene by creating opportunities for new artists, and providing unique pop-up events for the community. He has brought headline DJs to Calgary from across the country including Sydney Blu, Joses, and Hatiras. 

Career highlights include opening for Crusy, Hatiras, Esette, and Paul Brandt. Mason has also been the Official DJ of the Calgary Canucks since 2024.
