The first thing that hits you is the upbeat horns and drums announcing to you that this is not at all the soft rock song we remember from Ricki Erik back in 2016. The announcement comes swift in loud vocally as well when Ricki Erik declares “This is the remix!” It’s a more upbeat version of its original, softened with light strings in the forefront of the chorus than the piano sound of its predecessor. The real kick of this song is the funky,yet electric piano and bass that can be heard throughout. It gives it an almost 80s pop feel, that you just want to dance to and belt out with.

2. Love Hurts (Freestyle Remix)

Piano and drums come together to create this almost emotional beat and  accompany this song about the feeling of love. The tag team of Ricki Erik’s vocals and Zambo Buchanon’s rap create this feeling of a masculine ballad. The chorus is catchy, the lyrics are sweet, and the beat is a groove that pulls you in immediately. A beautiful song!
