I always make a couple of versions of any #songidea - you never know how the #recording & #mixing #process #developes when #layers of #rythm #percussion & #sounds are #added- and #ultimately the #final #structure and also #length of the song is #determined 
That way, each #recording has 2 #options when #emerging my #studio. It's usually an #intuitive #job choosing the preferred version  worthy of becoming the #official #release-candidate 

The #original song-idea is always what my #intuition choose first, unless the #alternative version #kills the original or just #shines more 

This time, I had the basic #songidea & #lyrics more or less ready.
My #rehersal #live #drumtrack #from the #kitchen was the first input, kept on the #albumversion & #scrapped and #replaced by #beats, #samples & #loops to my #liking

In this particular case, I couldn't choose between the 2, so I am #releasing both, one ends up on the #album, the other is released as a #remix some time after the album release. (Or scrapped .. 🔞)
