Bio:
Beat Hussy is a Seattle area DJ spinning smooth blends of playful, sexy, eclectic House Music for the world. 

She started as a resident at a local fetish night, The Grind at The Wet Spot, spinning Gothic, Industrial and Dark Wave as a favor to a friend before learning to mix House, Breaks and Drum & Bass on a pair of 1200s she bought on her 33rd birthday. 

She began playing regularly house parties, art shows, fundraisers and Burning Man events.

After a 6 year break, Beat Hussy reemerged with a vinyl set in Portland before making the leap to digital at the Northwest House Music Conference a few days later covering some open slots (renegade style: with a thumb drive she bought on the way to the venue and whatever tracks she found on her laptop once she got there) earning her the nickname “Slot Snatcher”.   

Beat Hussy’s favorite venues are unconventional, leading to sets on a bus driving through deep playa, a truck driving around Seattle Hempfest and many other interesting places she’s not allowed to discuss ;).  

She’s played in Seattle, Portland, Black Rock City, San Francisco, Chicago, Oakland, Lake of the Ozarks, Lubbock and Bremerton.  You can catch Beat Hussy most Fridays at 10p pt / midnight ct on SugarShackRadio.com.
