Dominic, AKA Stranger Danger, has been a part of the underground music
scene since 1992. Going from house dancer, to promoter, to DJ, and now producer, Danger has followed a natural progression for those who love House Music.
Having a grandfather who was a Baptist preacher and a dad in a funk band, Danger's love for music started early in life. Since his first rave in the early 90's, Danger soaked up the eclectic diversity in the Bay Area and grew to love and appreciate House Music for its energy and community, as well as its soulful healing and message.
As a DJ, Danger runs the gamut from deep rich vocals and moody chuggy beats to the occasional jack tune. As a producer, he makes swingy and or deep tracks, but is looking to do some big room vocals in the future. Danger's got an ear for music, so in his mix sets you'll always find a song or two you really like, and hopefully haven't heard over and over again.
Stranger Danger is just getting started.

A little more about the guy:
Dance floor romancer, rhythmical renaissance man, and preceptor of positive vibes: this is the Groove Antenna. Adept in a range of subjects that spans a degree in HVAC/R, bike mechanics, computer building, silly walks, old school vinyl rave DJing, and producing insatiable beats. Founder/owner of Ravetank Records. The one and only unstoppable Ravetank!

This ol' rave relic cares not for rhythmical rules and follows no trends. He relies on his audio acumen to decimate dance floors from dusk til' dawn; with one prime directive, to transform you in to a sweat soaked hot mess of rave gravy while you dance like no one is watching, and finally leaving you exhausted and enraptured wondering "what jus' happened".

Getting his start back in the after hour glory days of the East Coast rave scene, The Groove Antenna, (formally Jacksonstrut), has a love for music that is matched only by his passion for dancing. During a long musical revolution through many genres of electronic music he has been bringing the groove, swing, funk, soul and jack to dance floors from Nova Scotia to Quebec for the better part of two decades, closing out such clubs as Reflections, The Palace, La Sonar, Sub Rosa, Nitro, Oxygen and many others along side of some of the industries biggest names including:

So, a little while ago - 2015 to be precise... we had an absolute cracking mix on Series 1 of the FUNKcast from head honcho at Jackin.cz - PIF... so I reached out again to reconnect and had a lovely catch up with this guy, since we last spoke we both got married but we both still are running our little House Music HQs and have never lost the love for it.

So lets welcome back to the FUNKcast for Series 3 - Mr Jackin.CZ - PIF... this ones hot!!!

A little more about PIF:
DJ PIF's journey into the world of DJing began with a deep love for music in 2005 when he was recognized by a local DJ and radio host in Czech Republic. As he started to learn the craft of mixing, he was also passionate about being a radio host on a local radio station. This love stayed with him as he was hosting a show for 4 years on Amsterdam Most Wanted radio. Now he hosts a show on the RadioB.cz called Pifoviny.

In 2011 he founded Jackin.cz collective and with DJ MarkyP they put Jackin House firmly on the map in the Czech scene.

He played in numerous clubs all around Czech Republic, being resident in Prague’s Hilton Cloud 9 and also the hub for Czech underground house scene - Pekelnej bar. Sharing stages with international icons, to name a few DJ Sneak, Golf Clap, Flapjackers, Craig Hamilton, Johny Fiasco, Trevor Vichas, and JR From Dallas. They inspired him to start creating his own tracks and since 2012 his tracks were released on labels like Doing Work Records, Full House Digital, Treasured Grooves and more.

Number 29 is up and we've got the wonderful Wilson Frisk providing a sweet mxitape for y'all to enjoy !! 

He hails from Bradford, Yorkshire in the north of England. Like many other Dj's Wilson started his musical journey collecting music as a young teenager doing compilations for his friends. In 1994 Wilson started a music fanzine called 'Jackyard Backoff' with his late friend Chris Stephenson which covered the music scene in the north of England. Around 1995 Wilson became involved with a very successful club night called 'Spice' which was his first stint at Dj'ing playing Broken Beat, Acid Jazz, Hip Hop, Soul and jazz......Wilson has now firmly established himself in the House/Disco scene holding down residencies in Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield and been involved with infamous club nights such as Back2Funky, Uno House, Our House, Afro Coalition, Way2Funky, Wallop, GYGO and The House Of Phunk. Currently Wilson is one of the Boombox Stereo residents who play at the mighty BeatHearder Festival and part of the 4Playdjs Collective who play at the Solfest Festival in Cumbria. Wilson is also one half Of Uptown Funk along side his musical partner in crime Poco (@uptownfunkin)
.. Wilson is known for his smooth mixing style, taking you on a musical journey dipping in and out of all genres of House music but keeping it in his Jackin', Funky, Disco style that he's renowned for!
