consciousness is the epiphenomenon of matter: brain never changes the brain; program never changes the program; ego never changes the ego; personality never changes the personality; matter never changes matter. what separates the conscious mind from the unconscious mind is the analytical mind. only when you enter a thoughtful space and become no-body (you forget that you have body), become no-one (forget that you have an identity), become no-thing (forget that you're connected to your environment), become no-where in no-time do you become pure consciousness pure thought. it's a skill and it's a frequency into (or out of) which one may tune and that's where it's possible to consciously effectuate the placebo by changing the brain, program, ego, personality, body, and matter.
