I miss them
The talks we had, even when one sided
The feeling of you by my side
The comfort you brought when 
They would kiss away my concerns with a glance
I miss the strength I felt when you
Sat beside me
Feeling your heart in mine
I miss the way my hand always seemed
To make the journey
To rest upon you like a bird resting 
Peacefully in its nest
As the world passed by un-noticed
Through the light blue tinted windows
All seemed in its place

The Mighty Oak is a story of love, loss and hope. The short film is a modern, animated parable that opens with a Mighty Oak, standing alone in a field of beautiful flowers. He has been alone for some time when a farmer comes and plants a Cherry Tree next to him. The Mighty Oak and the Cherry Tree fall in love and become entwined with one another. This love helps the Cherry Tree grow and mature and, in the end, withstand the storms that rages against her in life.

This has been made into a Graphic Animation piece that is currently being submitted to film festivals.
