"I'm curious about everything—this is my power." The Ukrainian DJ and label boss sits down to discuss her approach to curating, self-development, parenthood and more.

Nastia calls herself a "true DJ." The Ukrainian artist first laid hands on a pair of decks in 2005 after moving from her small hometown and attending the University of Donetsk. Beginning as a radio host at Kiss FM, where she curated a show called Nechto—now the name of her label—she started actively touring, pursuing a career dedicated to DJing and nothing else.

Nastia is proud of having reached great heights as a DJ with no productions under her belt. In this conversation recorded live at Nuits Sonores festival in Lyon, she tells moderator Christine Kakaire about her decision to turn her attention towards the studio at the apex of her career. She also discusses her idiosyncratic style of putting a set together, using each stage appearance as an opportunity to educate the audience about music and create a narrative expressive of her internal world. "I'll never be just a drum & bass DJ, or just a techno DJ," she says. "I'm curious about everything—this is my power."

Berlin techno veteran Alexander Kowalski brings his Slam Radio mix today after just releasing his album on Mord: After having immediately established himself as an dynamic live act in 1997, Kowalski has made a career of engaging his fleet of machines in the production of everything from techno to house and dub. Essentially a self reliant solo artist, Kowalski has also been a galvanizing force in his corner of the Berlin techno scene both as a label boss at Damage Music Berlin, production collaborator and remixer.

We welcome the booker of the techno and experimental floor of Freqs Of Nature, Naty also runs the Berlin based Atmophile Electronics imprint, a project focused on the atmospheric side of techno & was launched last year with a great compilation featuring artists such as Mike Parker, Matrixxman, Polar Inertia among others. The next release on the label is Naty Seres EP in collaboration with Bensen plus Matrixxman on remixing duties. She will soon have a new EP coming out soon. Naty also recently played at the Modular Synth Boiler Room at Funkhaus in Berlin, she is resident of Waking Life festival in Portugal..

Frank Muller aka Beroshima also know as the Alain Delon of the Techno and one of Germany's most remarkable exports, with gigs in countries all over the world from Asia to South America. As a DJ, producer and live act, he is constantly evolving: whether he comes up with acid-flavored sounds, Detroit-style techno or hearty house, he always makes a name for himself and has contributed a large number of important records to the scene over the years.

Frank Muller aka Beroshima zählt seit fast dreißig Jahren als Urgestein der Techno Szene und zu einem der bemerkenswertesten Exporte Deutschlands, mit Gigs in Ländern auf der ganzen Welt von Asien bis Südamerika. Als DJ, Produzent und Live-Act entwickelt er sich ständig weiter: ob er nun mit Acid-aromatisierten Klängen, Techno im Detroit-Stil oder mit herzlichem House aufwartet, er macht sich immer einen Namen und hat im Laufe der Jahre eine große Anzahl wichtiger Platten in der Szene beigesteuert.
