La bateria, el baix, la guitarra i l'òrgan d'aquest riddim van ser gravades en viu a A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio, sent tots els músics junts a la mateixa habitació amb només uns quants micròfons de cinta. La idea era recrear el so de l'era daurada del rocksteady quan tots els músics compartien la mateixa habitació per a un enregistrament. Segons aquesta idea, la sala no era 100% seca i la majoria dels micròfons eren mics de cinta que donaven a l'enregistrament una atmosfera única.

A més, la sessió es va registrar al 100% de forma analògica, utilitzant un vuit pistes A80 reel to reel multitrack recorder (1 inch).

La batería, el bajo, la guitarra y el órgano de este riddim fueron grabados en vivo en A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio, estando todos los músicos juntos en la misma habitación con sólo unos cuantos micrófonos de cinta. La idea era recrear el sonido de la era dorada del rocksteady cuando todos los músicos compartían la misma habitación para una grabación. Según esta idea, la sala no era 100% seca y la mayoría de los micrófonos eran mics de cinta que daban a la grabación una atmósfera única.

Además, la sesión se registró al 100% de forma analógica, utilizando un ocho pistas A80 reel to reel multitrack recorder (1 inch).

The drum, bass, guitars, piano and organ of this riddim were recorded live at the A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio, being all musicians together in the same room with just a few ribbon mics. The idea was to recreate the sound of the golden era of rocksteady when all musicians shared the same room for a recording. According to that idea the room was not 100% dry and most of the microphones were ribbon mics giving the recording a unique atmosphere.

In addition the session was recorded 100% analogically, using an eight track studer A80 reel to reel multitrack recorder (1 inch).

Producer Matt Interrupt from Reggae Roast Soundsystem has teamed up with south London MCs Deemas J and Mista Jago for their upcoming full length album ‘We Don’t Stop’ - due for release in late April 2023.

The second single ‘Keep the Faith’ is out on Friday 14th April, and features guest vocals from west Irish singer Cian Finn, who provides a positive and uplifting chorus, encouraging people to keep the faith in times of hardship and struggle.

Inspired by recent years of pandemics, lockdowns and economic hardship, Keep the Faith provides a much needed positive message,  warning people not to go astray and to instead focus on doing good in their community and helping others.

Deemas J and Mista Jago’s verses continue this theme, with Deemas warning people not to ‘fall into the dark’ with a killer fast chat style verse. Mista Jago’s verse then complements the two singers with a raw and heavy ragga style vocal.

Produced by Matt Interrupt, the 80s digital dancehall inspired riddim gives the song a hard and heavy undertone, designed to get the crowd moving in the dance!

Rebelmadiaq neix el 2003, a la ciutat de Granada i s'estableix a Barcelona el 2005. Durant aquest temps han desplegat les seves maletes de música per escenaris, sales, clubs, festivals i esdeveniments, alhora que compartit cartell amb nombrosos sounds systems, bandes i artistes locals i internacionals. Especialitzats en el col·leccionisme de música jamaicana planxada en vinil, compten també amb una interessant dub box i, recentment, amb produccions pròpies editades sota el seu segell en colaboració amb productors com Chalart58 o Genius T. 
Des 2016 compten amb el seu propi sound system de construcció artesanal amb què promocionen nombrosos balls a la ciutat de Barcelona i més enllà.

Especializados en el coleccionismo de música jamaicana planchada en vinilo, cuentan también con una interesante dub box y, recientemente, con producciones propias editadas bajo su sello y en colaboración con productores como Chalart58 o Genius T. 
Desde 2016 cuentan con su propio sound system de construcción artesanal con el que promocionan numerosos bailes en la ciudad de Barcelona y más allá.
Rebelmadiaq son, sobre todo, amantes del sonido jamaicano y sus diferentes géneros: desde los fundacionales mento, ska, early reggae & rocksteady, pasando por las producciones roots & rub a dub, digital, lovers rock y así hasta llegar al dancehall actual y las nuevas producciones de sonido reggae que emanan de estudios jamaicanos e internacionales. 
Todo en un contexto donde el contacto con el público es constante y el baile se hace imprescindible.

Rebelmadiaq was born in 2003 in the city of Granada and arrived to Barcelona in 2005.
During this time they have spread their music in stages, halls, clubs, festivals and events, while shared line up with numerous sounds systems, local and international bands and artists.
Specialized in collecting Jamaican music pressed on vinyl, they also have an interesting dub box and recently edited productions under his own label working longside producers like Chalart58 or Genius T..
Since 2016 they have their own sound system of handmade construction with which they promote numerous dances in the city of Barcelona and beyond.
Rebelmadiaq are, above all, lovers of Jamaican sound and his different genres: from the founding mento, ska, early reggae and rocksteady, through the roots & Rub a Dub, digital, lovers rock and new dancehall and reggae productions that comes out of jamaican and international studios.
