Originally hailing from Co. Armagh N.Ireland Shea grew up as a trance enthusiast. Taking inspiration from his older siblings who were industry leaders in the local rave scene of the 90s, his oldest brother being a well renowned local DJ. He first tried his hands mixing on his brothers technic turntables in the early 2010s and has been captivated ever since. 



Shea’s prominent influences come from his trance days with the likes of X-Ray, Hi-Gate and Mauro Picotto, these early 90s rave sounds have had a lasting affect on Sheás personal selection and unique style he has incorporated in his sets. 



His personal approach compromises fast paced relentless hard hitting bass lines that have had a devastating effect on the Melbourne techno scene and have seen the youth on their feet for days. Blending genres has become something Sheá has taken to a new level recently with his love for Breaks, Ghetto Tech and Trance featuring in his sets. 



Beginning music production in 2020 has seen Shea release several tracks under his alias Slåpp. Amassing over 8k plays collectively over his tracks and mixes. 



2022 is looking bright for the Armagh native with production and live performances taking to new heights - a massive household name and one to watch out for on the Melbourne scene. Check out the artists socials to keep updated.
