Rebus Project - Voyager (Original Mix)

D.J. MacIntyres SLC-6 Music opens the fall season by presenting the twenty-second edition of their SIX: Stage-X compilation series. Established five years ago, the beloved various artists showcase continues to search the globe for the freshest new talent that the electronic underground has to offer, featuring a cohesive blend of progressive and melodic techno styles. SIX: Stage-22 continues that ethos and lands in impressive fashion with exclusive new music from: Rebus Project, Gowzer, Narik, DEGG (MT), Noise Generation, Headkube and Uberphat. Making his label debut with selection one is Estonian artist Viktor Pekisev aka Rebus Project. Mankind Continuum sets the tone for the collection with its sweeping symphonics, icy pads and chugging progressive groove thats perfect for the dancefloor. Also making his label debut is Gowzer who provides selection two The Future. Known for his releases via Droid9, the Glasgow resident brings a nostalgic progressive house vibe that excels through its use of chugging basslines, percolating synths and strong rhythmic top lines to maximize its club-effective range. Returning to the label with selection three is Narik who made his SLC-6 debut earlier this year as part of the SIX-Stage-20 collection. Echoes is the French artists contribution here and it finds a nice balance of progressive house and melodic techno throughout, highlighted by a distinctive vocal chant which makes for a transcendent experience. The collections halfway point finds DEGG and Noise Generation presenting their latest collaboration Avrasya. Hailing from Malta and Sri Lanka respectively, the duo combine their extensive forces for a peak hour cut highlighted by chugging progressive grooves, swing-heavy percussion, and a trippy amalgamation of haunting vocal pads and percolating textures. SLC-6 stalwart Headkube is up next with The Steel Yard, a track which marks his twelfth appearance on the label. Pace and tempo rise here for a trance-inducing journey complete with euphoric melodies, emotive chord changes and an unrelenting pulse to take the energy of any set higher. The release concludes with Uberphat returning to the label for his second appearance following a contribution to the SIX: Stage-18 collection from 2023. Doppler Flux finds the American artist crafting a quirky cross-genre production that cleverly coaxes drum & bass inspired basslines, pixie-like melodies and a heartfelt break to unite your dancefloor.

D.J. MacIntyres SLC-6 Music opens the spring season by presenting new interpretations of Dizziness by Servando & Gaspar Aguilera. Originally released as part of the labels SIX: Stage-19 collection from February of last year, Dizziness found the Argentinean duo crafting a smooth progressive journey complete with aquatic themes, gated vocals and a sturdy groove that was perfect for mid-set play. Still holding a spot in the duos Beatport Top 10 best sellers more than a year after its release, SLC-6 Music now invites Rebus Project and B.I.R.DD to re-imagine the track for spring 2025. Hailing from Estonia but now calling Scotland home, Viktor Pekisev aka Rebus Project returns to the label following a contribution to the SIX: Stage-22 collection from last year. Always a creative remixer, the Glasgow resident adds considerable funk to the groove, while a top line of delicate arps, wispy vocal drifts and airy effects make for a perfect summery vibe. The release concludes with B.I.R.DD providing the second and final interpretation following a contribution to Musique de Lunes Rayons De Lune II collection to close out 2024. Now making his SLC-6 debut, the up and coming Argentine puts deeper spin on Dizziness, one where tough chunky grooves, emotive chord stabs and vibrant percussion converge for a perfect marriage to keep any dancefloor moving.

The result can be checked on numerous beatport chartings, 160 of the label's releases were featured on beatport proghouse releases top 100, regular appereances on must have progressive house top 10 selections. The label's priority to support their local artists and give them the chance to spin live on parties as dj's.

Cosmonaut & Rebus Project - Man Enters Space (Original Mix)

Rebus Project, started his musical career in the mid-’90s as a DJ. He achieved great success on that way by playing his DJ sets at clubs, festivals and raves across Estonia - his country of origin. That time it was mostly banging techno. He also was a host of two internet radio shows.
At the early ‘00s, Viktor (also known as Rebus Project, Flying Turtle, Dj Smiler) started creating his own tracks. Through the years he has released three albums and many EPs, and participated in numerous compilations. He has releases on labels such as Stellar Fountain, Soundteller Records, Clinique Recordings, Ambious Records, etc. The sound of Rebus Project ranges from Electronica/Downtempo, Minimal, Deep House and Progressive House to Techno with the main focus on Progressive House music.
In 2011, Viktor moved to the UK and sustained his career creating new productions and remixes. In 2017, one of his collaborative tracks, “Exosphere”, stayed in Beatport’s Progressive House Top 100 for a month. Currently, Rebus
Project keeps experimenting with sound shaping his unique style.
