Miss I set up on a musical journey, turning her passion for music and vinyl into a job and later on becoming the driving force behind the famous Misbits Record Shop which just turned 8 years old!

Misbits is not just a record shop and have been organising musical events, art expositions, graffiti sessions, live streams and offering continuous support to young, up and coming DJs since they’ve opened their doors back in 2013. 

Ioana has her own record label, Misbits Recordings, which she started alongside Cosmin Dumitru, focused on experimental and ambient downtempo. 

Buckle up and enjoy almost 2 hours of vinyl selections straight from Misbits Record Shop!

We are happy to welcome Tel Aviv’s Adar Cohen to the Sous-Vide Records family with her latest mix delivered for Soup Du Jour. The Block resident goes to work using addition by subtraction, selecting stripped back minimal productions that lend themselves to the sublime. Subtle groove based rhythms dominate the mix, where Adar puts her next to none tastes to the forefront. It’s no surprise Adar is being championed as one of the most important artists in Tel Aviv’s minimal scene.

Bio: Juan Maldonado, a.k.a. Maldo, is a DJ/producer from Bogotá,
Colombia with over 6 years of experience. He has managed to be a benchmark of Minimal electronic music in his country.
 Musician since he was 13 years old and very passionate about the
 underground rhythms of metal and rap, he found his place of artistic
 expression within electronic music. His career has been focused on the
 minimalist aspects of techno and house, with a marked influence by
 Romanian sounds. His sound is characterized by groove, rolling
 basslines, experimentation, and sound design.
 As a producer, he has released multiple EPs on national and
 international labels. Among his outstanding releases is Pirarucu EP,
 by the Essential of Minimal label, another outstanding release was the
 track "El Dorado" in the VA. Telurian 2 of Zebra Records.
 His live performances are full of energy and always makes people
 dance. In 2022 he was one of the headliners of the a:ritmi:a fest,
 which was the first minimal festival in Colombia and later he had the
 opportunity to open the Hypnosis festival where greats of the genre
 such as Mihigh, Herck, I3XM, Unaporte and Vadim Oslov also played.
 Maldo is one of the residents of the mythical minimal label from
 Bogotá Fonoteca recognized for the quality of its parties, and for
 being pioneers of Minimal parties in Colombia.
 This set is a journey throughout Maldo's carreer as a producer, as
 this is his first set of only his own productions and remixes

Passing their formation years, Sakdat and Balaur, achieved their completing manoeuvrability and came to us in full force. 

They stepped in fast paced but with a pleasant spirit, covering us with a membrane of planetary pads and alluring verbal sequences. Series of heavy jolts ride through the entire hour with squads of percussions intensifying the experiences. Systematic flickers are lingering while the path is set by the un-weakening musical marching ensembles. 

Sakdat and Balaur identify with the idea of music unrolling in a personal mind-movie for each listener and this piece is another confirmation.
