'Nice one Rhys, both mixes sound lovely! I prefer the second mix because of the added tape saturation. Add a lot of nice warmth to the track and round the low end and high end off nicely. The melodica (which i had trouble mixing myself) fits nicely in the mix, along with the panned percussion. Your application of reverb and delays add a nice stereo width and depth to the mix. Most importantly the kick and bass stay prominent throughout, perfectly representing the genre.' - Jonny Fisha

'I am very happy with this mix. All elements of the track fit where they should be, everything has its place. The kick drum is very prominent which is what I was going for with a bass heavy element. The main sample in the track has really been brought forward and sounds clear and crisp. 'I like this mix however personally I feel this mix sounds slightly over processed and lacking in the low and lower mid frequencies. This is purely opinion based and that I like sounds quite natural and unprocessed but this also may be a large part to do with that I have much to learn about mixing and mastering and my ears are un-trained. Other than this I feel it is a great mix, high quality and is probably far more ready to be played through a range of sound systems  as a mix than anything I could achieve. I think the bass has been boosted a little within the mix, slightly louder than I had made it so it makes an interesting comparison.
