The poem was featured in the memorable funeral scene in the movie, Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Though a sad and mournful song in the beginning, Time to Say Goodbye builds to portray a celebration of life.
This version features a vocal from Eleanor Forte, a synthetic voice for the program Synthesizer V.
The vocal starts about 50 seconds into the song.

This song is about a prisoner, working on the railroad and dreaming of escape on the next train. It may have been inspired by that wonderful scene from the "Blazing Saddles" movie.
