The format is part memoir and part novelette fiction. Take a 2,800 mile U.S. road trip and climb 10,000 feet onto Mount Rainier. 30 years are sketched across 23 chapters and 16 songs. There’s a spiritual “oneness” behind the fears faced and the aspirations chased.

TAHOMA FALLS: narrative / chapter I

This adventure series (a legend plus 8 excursions) empowers children ages 3 and up to be curious, creative, considerate, and confident. Raisa is an inquisitive teen. She wonders how, why, and where the keepsakes in her home are made. Some are utilitarian objects and others are art. In the legend, our lovable Spanish wondergirl and her red fox companion Hendrix are offered a unique opportunity — to visit one of 51 global destinations to find answers. They fly atop Raisa’s tablet, thanks to the magic of a Turkish genie named Ogul. In the first 8 volumes, they visit Dhaka (Asia), Shanghai (Asia), Spearfish (North America), Paris (Europe), Mawson (Antarctica), Perth (Australia), Kumasi (Africa), and Rio de Janeiro (South America). They meet ambassadors who work as artisans in their native countries. They’re introduced to colorful craft traditions.

TABULA RAISA: The Legend

The word “bizkü” is the author’s creation. It’s a twist on traditional haiku — the short-form Japanese poetry. Three lines. 5-7-5 syllable pattern. Each bizkü delivers a burst of inspiration. Inspired by the book Taxi Driver Wisdom (Risa Mickenberg, 1996). Volume I is Dragonfire for Business and Life. Volume II is A Bird in My Hand. Each volume features 200 haiku with accompanying photography.

Marlowe is the prodigal daughter of a washed-up prize fighter who designs a dazzling new concept car. She accepts an offer from a German car company and takes no prisoners on a meteoric rise to fame. Despite her superwoman wiles, ordinary pitfalls spell doom for her romances and wellbeing. From a hospital bed, she’s visited by her estranged father. She’s granted a mulligan. Joined by the entire ensemble the finale debuts her heartfelt reboot.

The storyline is enriched by re-imagined music from one of Rolling Stone magazine’s “500 Greatest Albums of All-Time” — performed in its entirety, according to the original track listing. The soundtrack will be expertly- crafted to transport the plot from beginning to end in iconic capsules. The lead will be joined by cameos from three others. Currently scripted for sparse staging, Estranged could also flourish with a more extravagant treatment in film. A colorful life is poignantly sketched in two acts and two hours, with a 15-minute intermission.

Yacey Telfair is a college art student from Savannah GA (USA) with a strange, recurring dream. When the haunting ends and the mystery is revealed, she confides in her close friend Flick Wyeth. They embark on the journey of a lifetime — from Denver (USA) to Alexandria and Cairo (EGYOT) to Cape Town (SOUTH AFRICA) to a secret research facility in remote Antarctica. Few will believe the fate they see, but they have less than two years to assemble a team to achieve the seemingly impossible.

CRIMSON RUNAWAY is a four-part sci-fi series in the spirit of the movie A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD (2012). The parts are titled COMPASS IN, CRIMSON RUNAWAY, HIDDEN ABUNDANCE, and PIVOTAL SYMMETRY. Its journal entries are set a few years into the future. Its characters are colorful but sparse, like David Mamet’s screenplay for GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS. The action slowly mounts and becomes more dense as the series unfolds, culminating in a finale of truly epic proportions.

CRIMSON RUNAWAY: Opening Letter

TINGENCE is a ghost story series. Based in the Italian Riviera, episodes follow the gentle hauntings of a wistful, unfulfilled spirit. In life, Concetta Genovese spent far too much time waiting for her husband to return from sea. Tiderio La Faccia di Pietra, or "Stoneface," was a ruthless Ligurian pirate whose ship was caught in an epic storm and who lost his battle with a giant squid. When news reached her shores, Concetta mourned for three sleepless nights before taking her life. 

Centuries later, a freelance travel and amateur sailor Jonathan Kipling believes he's being watched. He launches a blog to share his experiences. Readership rises, as Kipling learns he's not alone. It's the subtle steerings of Concetta, as she encourages travelers to live their best lives and chase their dreams.

TINGENCE: Pilot Premise

"Victor Fischer" is a tribute to my grandfather (on my mother's side of the family). It's interesting content around World War II, from the life of a first generation American of German Jewish descent at a incredibly difficult time in history. Victor was a member of the "The Greatest Generation."

Established 1993 as an imprint in music publishing, Reckless Raven re-emerges in 2023 as a multimedia studio for audio books, serials, shorts, podcasts, and more. Most indigenous cultures in the Pacific Northwest view the raven as a symbol of creativity, mischief, and magic. In the Icelandic Sagas, ravens are omniscient messengers.
