Simone Scardino has created a musical style and vision that truly is his own, sharing it with the world with his new solo project CONCEPTUAL.
Techno is body music. It’s all about this special feeling that you have when your mind disconnects and your body just follows the music, the feeling of freedom when you dance. Simone’s vision of techno unceasingly characterizes his unique productions as well as his DJ sets. Colorful and energetic techno, a powerful explosion of craziness and happiness at the same time. Three-dimensional spatial sounds combined with gentle but determined drum grooves create a mystical and whirling result and a killer stereo experience!
Last year Simone founded the Berlin based art and music collective Friendship Collective. Through his devotion to techno and visual and performance arts the idea for CONCEPTUAL was born. His performances will often be characterized by collaborations with visual artists and performers, creating a special techno experience for the people that come to see him play.
Simone’s progressive approach to producing and DJing as well as his collaborations with artists in and outside music reflects his artistic vision and goals as much as his spirited personality, and, in its essence, embodies what CONCEPTUAL represents. Plans for the year hold upcoming releases as well preparing playing live, continuously exploring the world of electronic music with his fans.

A man of intergalactic descent, US-born and based producer Decoder graces us with one of his ever inspired cross-dimensional sonic journeys - the kind of you know will have you sailing off to Saturn’s ring in a flash, but not the date you’ll get back. Cosmically boundless and exploratory by nature, his sound has already conquered the likes of Jeff Mills’ future-facing Axis imprint, Codec, Float and Subsist, establishing a non-pareil signature sound in today’s techno landscape; both unique in the experience it offers and palette it delves from. Out-of-this-world in all regards, tune in for a proper engrossing alien-engineered jaunt in the greater void.

Fernando Sanz se ha dedicado firmemente al arte de los ritmos y los breaks desde que era un joven de 14 años en la soleada ciudad portuaria de Algeciras, en el sur de España. Bajo el sello Orbe Records, Sanz ha cultivado su propia y próspera comunidad techno como artista y director del sello. Desde 2014 Orbe Records ha estado lanzando el techno de los compañeros de Sanz, Eduardo De La Calle y Steve Stoll, pero sobre todo del prolífico nombre de Sanz, Orbe. Como DJ y productor, Orbe mantiene un ambiente surrealista y ensoñador, a la vez que utiliza sutiles patrones de caja de ritmos para martillear los sólidos platónicos que mantienen intacta su querida comunidad.
Su interés por un sonido conceptual le hizo prestar atención a los ritmos techno, pasando por diferentes hardware como "Buchla Lem3" o "Andromeda" un estilo que le ha llevado a editar en sellos como "Hivern discs" de "John Talabot" o el prestigioso y veterano "Mental Groove" y pasar por grandes clubs como Propaganda (Moscú), Fuse (Bruselas), Le Sucre (Lyon) o Fabrique (Milán). Tras editar varios maxis en su propio sello y otros como "Analog Solutions" de "Eduardo de la Calle", Fernando lanza el Ep "Music of the spheres" que, con un remix de "Steve Stoll" le situaría como uno de los artistas emergentes de la escena techno europea, comenzando a actuar en lugares como Alemania, Holanda o Lituania entre otros.

Neary, founder of Dissonance Collective, takes us on a journey with a set featuring tribal sounds and a groovy rhythm, drawing inspiration from his deep roots. Hailing from La Réunion, a small island located near Madagascar in the Indian Ocean, and now based in Paris, it is through this performance that he invites us to a unique voyage through a jungle of groove, offering is own musical perspective.

Right on cue to support the release of his newest EP on SK_eleven, here comes Manchester via Berlin's own Setaoc Mass with a banger of a mix to break June in proper, pedal to the metal. Exponent of a sound both intrinsically rugged yet layered to mind-altering effect, the British producer has been dishing out unstoppable slices of hi-velocity techno laced with a signature stripped-back, psychedelic edge. This new RYC podcast doesn’t veer off from such a direction and we’re graced with a two-hour mind trip boasting both bass-driven warehouse impact and an elegantly-woven tapestry of abrasive grooves, leaning by turn towards atmospheric elation and on other occasions pushing in the direction of utter fibrous, steel-coated industrial pound. The result is a wilder than wild ride down a smouldering pit of acid-washed hard hitters. Brutal.
