The Rotterdam-based and Lyon raised artist Caravel built her musical expertise through various instruments and genres.

Her productions are a distinctive combination of industrial, melodic, and hard Techno. The French artist’s key performances at Le Sucre (Lyon), Blackworks (Madrid), BASIS (Utrecht), HÖR, and intense warehouse raves in Paris allowed her to steadily build her profile with enormous prospects for 2022.

Fresh off a contribution from his brother-in-arms / fellow Vault Sessions’ resident DJ Phil Berg a couple of weeks back, Amsterdam’s Lobster clocks in our weekly show with two hours of heavily gusty, cyclonic big-room techno. Muscles bent to maximal effort and feet beating an infernal tempo, Lobster bulldozes his way in with monster strike force and accuracy. Poised for the most intense climactic workouts, this is no-prisoner 4x4 expression at its absolutely rawest, most euphoric best. Seismic business.

Here in Tbilisi, DJ/Producer Beka Wu is cutting a dash as versatile new kid on the block. Fast becoming a favourite on the local scene, his two careers (one as fledgling music maker, second as light designer) give his sound a unique palette for space that reverberates both figuratively and physically. Think Basic Channel plus a few BPMs for dancefloor consumption and take Bassiani Podcast 149 as a case in point: this one’s effortlessly chill, a prime selection of quivering and groovy cuts to add to the podcast catalogue. As a 'sucker for old school tracks and new school' Bruecke rarely loves anything more than pushing his vinyl through various soundsystems. Apart from spinning his vinyl, Bruecke hosts his own subseries within Antidote where he invites fellow vinyl enthusiasts who showcase their wax gems.

From raves in both their homelands to releases on SK-eleven, HAYES, Room Trax and positivesource, as well as a shared residency for Vault Sessions that’s brought them here for Bassiani Podcast 210, the duo posit a deep and driving compound of high-voltage rhythms in their day-to-day praxis. Slamming techno that has claimed a rightful space among the greatest names of their generation. Layer by layer, an instinctive formulation of heaving basslines and delicate hi-hats balanced with utmost precision. It’s a seamless communion of complementary worldviews in respect to sound, a rich tapestry of ever morphing loops. It’s focus on gradual build, a slowly evolving chimera in lieu of schmaltzy instant gratification. This latest edition clocks in at three hours, a redacted version of their 12 hour set for the Vault Sessions night at Bassiani back in early February. Immersive and rolling, monolith techno that’s sure to set a higher bar for those who follow.

Over the past years Red Rooms established himself in Berlin's electronic music scene. Known for his distinctive sound and minimalist approach, he captivates audiences with his hypnotic and driving grooves.
